Chapter 519
Louisa looked at that clean, elegant hand, and for a moment, she felt dazed.
There were still many people watching. She couldn’t embarrass Julian by refusing.
She placed her hand in his palm. Just as she was about to jump down, Julian wrapped his other arm around her legs and lifted her down.
The scene left everyone from the branch office completely stunned.
They’d known Louisa was a female executive, but they’d had no idea she had any kind of intimate relationship with the CEO.
Now they were done for.
If Louisa complained about them to the CEO, would they even have jobs left?
They were panicking.
Elara shot them a contemptuous look. Now you’re scared? Too late.
Though she hadn’t expected Louisa and the CEO to have that kind of relationship either. For a moment, her mind went blank.
Teddy nudged her. “Aren’t you going to prepare accommodations for Mr. Tudor?”
Elara snapped out of it. “Right away.”
She hurried off.
Back at Hugo’s side, the group was still trapped in a state of panic, convinced their jobs were on the line.
Several managers urged Hugo to say something.
Hugo was just as nervous. He shuffled over to Julian timidly. “Mr. Tudor, you must be exhausted from the journey. Would you like to sit in the office? I can give you a report on the branch’s situation.”
Julian gave him a cold glance. “That won’t be necessary.”
Hugo stood there dumbly, not catching on.
Julian turned to the others present. “Teddy, you’ll be responsible for negotiating with the village representatives. Mr. Graves, you’ll assist.”
“Yes, sir. Teddy responded immediately.
Hugo had been hoping to take control and report directly to Julian.
Julian then turned to Louisa. “Ms. Forbes, I’d like you to brief me on the branch’s situation.”

“Of course.” Louisa nodded.
Hugo wanted to speak but couldn’t find an opening. He stood there dejectedly, like an abandoned dog.
Honestly, he should have realized lian’s orders were obeyed even by Teddy and Louisa. Who was he to nitpick?
After that, everyone went to their assigned tasks.
Julian didn’t go to the office. He went to the cottage.
Louisa had no choice but to follow him.
The veteran employees at the branch had figured it out by now–whatever the relationship between Louisa and the CEO, the fact was
trusted her completely.
They had no choice. If they wanted to keep their jobs, they’d have to do everything they could to help Louisa implement her plan.
Inside the cottage.
Elara hadn’t finished preparing the room yet when Louisa and Julian walked in.
She hurried downstairs to explain. “Mr. Tudor, the room isn’t ready yet. You-”
“You can finish. I’ll sit in the living room for a while.” Julian settled onto the sofa on the first floor.
Elara hadn’t expected the sharp, commanding man from earlier to be so easygoing now. She struggled to adjust.
Louisa said gently, “It’s fine. Go ahead.”
“All right. If you need anything, just call me.” Elara rushed back upstairs.
Louisa personally went to the kitchen to make Julian a cup of tea. She brought it out and set it in front of him.
Then she stood to the side and began briefing Julian on the branch’s situation.
Her demeanor was entirely professional–strictly subordinate to superior.
Julian let out a quiet sigh.
Louisa thought she’d said something wrong. “Is there a problem?”
Julian rubbed his temples. “Ms. Forbes, I don’t like having someone standing while they talk to me. Please, sit.”
Louisa fell silent.
What kind of habit is that?
Back at the office, Teddy always stood when he reported to Julian. Julian had never seemed bothered by it.

Chapter 519-
Julian glanced at the distance between them. A flicker of something sad crossed his face, but he said nothing.
Louisa finished her report. Julian asked a few questions about her proposal, and she answered each one.
“Someone suggested you establish the company’s own fragrance brand. Why didn’t you agree?” Julian asked calmly.
Louisa said, “The Tudor Group is a conglomerate. The only industry it doesn’t have a stake in is fragrance. Among Silverlight City’s seven major corporations, the Young Group’s primary business is fragrance. Though the Young Group is declining now, I believe the Tudor Group originally avoided entering this field to leave room for others to survive. If that’s the case, why cut off their lifeline now? Silverlight City has plenty of well–run perfumery studios with strong growth potential. The Young Group has been on a downward trajectory because they’ve always imported their raw materials from overseas. That not only strengthens foreign economies but also puts enormous pressure on our domestic fragrance industry. So my thought is–we only produce raw materials. At the same time, we connect with other cultivation regions and, under the Tudor Group’s name, form a domestic fragrance raw material supply chain. This way, though we lose out on profits from fragrance products themselves, we expand the raw materials industry and benefit the entire domestic fragrance sector.”
She finished in one breath and looked over at Julian.
To her surprise, he was already looking at her.
Their eyes met. The cool air in the living room gradually began to heat.
Louisa’s heart involuntarily quickened.
She quickly looked away. “Does Mr. Tudor have a different idea?”
Julian didn’t answer right away.
Actually, her thinking aligned perfectly with his.
