After the Affair Falling into a Billionaire's Arms novel Chapter 555

Chapter 555

Dreamscape Club?

Adeline murmured the name.

Earlier, Amelia had mentioned that Julian’s reservation was also at Dreamscape Club.

What a coincidence. Too much of a coincidence.

Amelia saw it was time to leave and came over to persuade her again. Mom, you-

Enough. Stop talking. I’ll go.Adeline cut her off directly.

Amelia was stunned. What just happened? That was way too sudden.

Still, an agreement was an agreement.

Adeline stood up and went upstairs to change.

Amelia snapped out of it and sent Julian a message: [OK! Mission accomplished!]

On the way to Dreamscape Club.

Noah drove.

Louisa sat in the back.

She kept feeling something was off about tonight’s dinner.

With Julian’s status and position, every entrepreneur in the city would kill for a connection with him.

What could he possibly need her help with?

And Rachelwhy was she so interested in tonight’s dinner too?

Strange.

Something was definitely strange.

She’d have to wait and ask Julian when she saw him.

Julian arrived at the parking garage two minutes before her. He didn’t go upstairs first, waiting in his car instead.

When he saw her arrive, he got out and took her hand, leading her toward the elevator.

Louisa pulled free.

Julian looked down at her. What’s wrong?

Louisa said, Didn’t you say you had business to handle?

They were here for business, not a date. What would it look like if they held hands?

Julian smiled faintly, saying nothing.

Louisa felt even more suspicious. Once in the elevator, she asked, Tonight-

Before she could finish, Julian’s phone rang.

Julian didn’t answer immediately, asking her instead, What were you going to say?

Louisa said, Take your call first.

Okay.

Julian answered the phone.

Louisa followed silently beside him.

Only when they were nearly at the private room door did Julian finally end the call.

He turned to look at her. What did you want to ask earlier?

Louisa said, Nothing much. Just wondering who’s hosting dinner tonight that you’d need me to come?

Julian said, Mr. William Tudor.

The words had barely left his mouth when they reached the private room entrance.

Louisa froze.

What?

Was it too late to run?

Her body was more honest than her brain.

Her foot had already stepped back when Julian wrapped his arm around her waist, blocking her escape.

He kissed her ear softly. If you leave now, your boyfriend will lose all face. Help me out, okay?

His voice was low and intoxicating, making Louisa’s legs weak.

She couldn’t walk away, Her mind went blank.

What happened next wasn’t voluntary at allJulian pushed her inside with a hand at the small of her back.

Before her eyes sat six people. William, Justin, a pair of twinsprobably Amelia and Alicia.

And two men, slightly older than Julian, with somewhat similar features. They must be his two brothers, Jonathan and Jeffrey.

No Mrs. Tudor.

Amelia quickly explained, Um, Julian, Mom’s here, but she just went to the restroom. She’ll be back soon.

As she spoke, her gaze, along with the other Tudor siblings, landed on Louisa.

So this was Julian’s future wife?

She really was beautiful.

That face, that figure, that presencewhat man wouldn’t be captivated?

Forget meneven she, as a woman, was dazzled.

Fair skin, beautiful features, a slim waist, long legs, clear bright eyesThis matched their mother’s description of the girl in the green dress pretty well.

Plus, Louisa was wearing a pale green blouse today.

Rarely did anyone look this stunning in green. Absolutely gorgeous.

Louisa’s internal monologue was in crisis mode: Was it too late to go change?

Justin hopped down from his chair, walked over to Louisa with a big smile, looked up at her, and called out cheerfully, Third Sisterin-

law.

Louisa’s internal panic intensified. Hadn’t she told this little guy not to call her that?

In front of the entire Tudor family, they’d probably think she was using the Tudor children.

Whatever. Since she was here, she might as well make the best of it.

She forced a smile and ruffled the little guy’s hair, then looked up at the table full of people, maintaining composure and calm as she

greeted them. Hello.

William had no airs. He smiled warmly at Louisa. Relax, don’t be nervous. Please, sit down.

Julian pulled out the chair next to Justin, smiling with particular warmth at Louisa. Sit.

Thank you.Louisa returned the smile, wanting to strangle him.

After sitting down.

Amelia took the initiative to chat with her. Third Sisterinlaw, do you remember me? I’m Amelia. Last time when you and Julian were in

the glass house-

Louisa’s heart tightened and her face flushed.

Why bring that up?

She quickly interrupted. I remember, I remember.

Seeing Amelia about to continue, Louisa, terrified she’d say something else, hurriedly changed the subject.

Amelia didn’t think much of it. Like Justin, she was overly enthusiastic, calling her Third Sisterinlawwith every other sentence, making Louisa’s heart race with anxiety.

Alicia sat beside Amelia, her gaze openly assessing Louisa.

She didn’t immediately call her Third Sisterinlawlike Amelia and Justin.

She smiled. Ms. Forbes, I heard you resigned from the Tudor Group. Good moveworking there was a waste of your talents. Have you considered entering the entertainment industry? Your looks are exceptional. I guarantee within three years you’d be a household name.

Louisa went quiet.

A second later, she smiled faintly at Alicia. Thanks for the compliment. I should’ve studied acting from the start.

Not a direct answer, but it deflected the question.

Alicia laughed heartily. It’s not too late to learn now. Maybe Ms. Forbes is naturally gifted.

Julian gave her a cool glance. You talk a lot. Not thirsty?
