Chapter 560
Louisa’s internal monologue was in full crisis mode. Could she just go home?
She looked at Adeline, then at Julian.
This bastard clearly had no intention of letting her leave.
And she couldn’t exactly make a scene.
Fine. Whatever.
She sat down.
Adeline took a seat on the other side of William.
Louisa was back in her original spot.
Looking at the utensils she’d already used, she hesitated. Should she use them or not?
Julian’s gentle voice came from beside her. “Is the food not to your liking?”
Louisa said nothing.
Under the table, she kicked him hard.
This bastard.
Adeline seemed to catch on and immediately called out, “Alicia, bring fresh utensils/”
Alicia, her smile ambiguous, efficiently replaced Louisa’s utensils with clean ones, secretly winking at her.
Louisa smiled back.
The table resumed eating.
But for a moment, no one spoke. The atmosphere was so strange it felt like someone might lose it at any second.
Julian speared a piece of meat and placed it on Louisa’s plate. “I noticed you like meat. Here, have some.”
Louisa said, “Thank you.”
If you listened carefully, there was a teeth–grinding edge to her tone.
Julian pretended not to notice. He picked up a shrimp, peeled it himself, and held it to her lips. “Have some shrimp.”

Chapter 560
Louisa opened her mouth and ate it.
Only after swallowing did she realize–wasn’t that a bit too natural?
Sure enough, when she looked up, everyone at the table was watching them.
Especially Adeline.
Her eyes swept back and forth between the two of them, filled with suspicion and uncertainty.

Julian spoke leisurely. “We’ve spent time together. I think this young lady is excellent–exactly what I’m looking/for. Mom, thank
you.”
Adeline fell silent.
From entering the room until now had been barely ten minutes. That counted as “spending time together“?
She felt a chill of horror looking at her son. “You…”
“What, wondering if I’m serious? Of course I’m serious. Would I joke about something like this?” Julian finished her sentence,
ignoring his mother’s expression entirely as he turned to Louisa. “What do you think of me? If it works for you, let’s make it official
today.”
Adeline’s eyes went wide.
What was happening?
Had her son lost his mind?
Louisa quietly set down her knife and fork.
Everyone at the table looked at her in perfect unison.
Including Adeline.
Her son had asked so directly–would this girl think he was insane?
Unless… was her son trying to scare the girl away on purpose?
Louisa felt enormous pressure.
Under that crushing weight, she spoke calmly. “I think that between people, you need time to truly understand each other. There’s
an old saying–without four summers together, you can’t see each other’s true selves. So, no rush. No rush at all.”
Everyone exchanged glances.

Chapter 560
Four summers?
Understanding each other required four years?
In four years, they could have a child already.
One wanted a rocket, the other wanted a tractor.
The atmosphere froze.
The Tudor siblings secretly observed Julian’s expression.
William hadn’t expected that in the span of one meal, his son would declare his feelings twice–and be rejected by Louisa both
times.
The first time could be called shyness.
But the second time?
He truly hadn’t imagined that the one in no hurry, with no plans to marry, would be Louisa.
Adeline was still completely lost.
At first she’d thought her son was deliberately trying to scare the girl away.
Now, hearing Louisa’s words, she thought the girl had good principles.
For a young woman, being reserved was right.
As for the four years–once they actually developed feelings for each other, they’d naturally get anxious.
Julian’s expression remained calm, unchanged from before.
He continued looking at Louisa, as if contemplating her words. His face was unreadable, all his emotions locked deep in his eyes.
After a moment, he smiled slowly at her. “Seems you really love summer. Actually, I’m quite fond of summer too. After December, we
can fly to the southern hemisphere together and have another summer.”
Louisa went silent.
The entire Tudor family went silent.
They could hardly believe their eyes and ears.
Not getting angry was one thing–but now he was discussing logistics?

Chapter 560
He was willing to wait four years?
Though his few words had somehow turned “four years” into two.
But was dating really this humble now?
Julian used to treat women like passing clouds, breaking countless young hearts. Had karma finally caught up with him?
Adeline was still confused.
Earlier she’d thought her son was deliberately trying to scare the girl off. Now seeing how willing he was to be this humble…
Could he really have fallen for her at first sight, utterly smitten?
Seeing that Louisa looked stunned, she laughed warmly to smooth things over. “The southern hemisphere sounds lovely. You two
can go on vacation together during New Year’s. It’s settled then.”
Louisa took a breath, then let it out weakly. Only one thought remained: ‘Mrs. Tudor, you’re going to regret this.‘
Julian was very pleased with his mother’s current state. He smiled. “Mom, you’re really cute today.”
“What… cute? Don’t talk nonsense.” Adeline had never been praised like this by her son. She touched her face, a bit embarrassed.
By now she’d completely forgotten about the overly intimate behavior between those two earlier.
Anyway, she’d found her girl in the green dress.
Her son seemed quite taken with her.
And Louisa had been driven away.
Everyone was happy.
As for that slight sense of “something’s off“-it didn’t matter anymore. Whatever.
William glanced at his confused wife and sighed silently. ‘Fine, let her be happy for now. She’s smiling so sweetly–she really is
adorable.
Alicia: ‘Whatever. You all do what you want. I’m not playing the villain.“/
Jonathan: ‘No comment.‘
Justin: ‘More drama to watch. Excellent.”
Amelia: Chaos, chaos, so chaotic, so confusing. I’m just going to eat.‘

Chapter 560
They could only hope their confused mother would stay confused long enough for them to finish this meal in peace.
Louisa also thought eating was good. Finish the meal, then get out fast.
As for what happened after–she didn’t care anymore. Whatever. Let it be.
But right at that moment, the joyfully muddled Mrs. Tudor suddenly switched to lucid mode.
As if she’d just remembered something she looked at Louisa and asked, “Oh right, we got interrupted earlier, I still don’t know-
what’s your name?”
