After the Affair: Falling into a Billionaire’s Arms
Chapter 559
Louisa tried desperately to refuse.
But Adeline was determined, insisting on dragging her over.
She gripped Louisa’s hand tightly the entire way, terrified she’d escape.
As they neared the room, Louisa thought fast and pointed at the ceiling. “Ma’am, look–what’s that up there?”
“What?” Adeline stopped and looked up.
Louisa seized the moment of distraction, wrenched her hand free, and bolted.
Even if Adeline would eventually find out who she was, she didn’t want it to be today–not in this chaotic circus of a situation.
Especially not with everyone watching.
But she’d barely taken a few steps when the door to the private room suddenly opened.
Julian stepped out.
Louisa froze. ‘I’m doomed.‘
She felt hopeless.
Was this fate?
Did even God enjoy dramatic scenes like this?
Amelia, walking from the far end of the hallway, looked equally bewildered.
Her father had sent her to find her mother. When she’d called and heard that her mother had found the girl in the green dress and
was bringing her to the room to undermine Julian’s girlfriend, she’d rushed back to warn them.
She never expected to see her mother, Julian, and his girlfriend all standing outside the room together…
What was happening?
Her dazed gaze moved from Louisa to Adeline, then to Julian.
Julian’s expression was calm, unruffled, as if he didn’t see the bizarre scene unfolding before him at all.
What? Had Julian gone blind?

Chapter 559
Louisa’s internal monologue spiraled: What even is this?
The happiest person was Adeline.
She wasn’t the least bit bothered that Louisa had just tricked her. If anything, she found it playful.
She walked over with a bright smile and took Louisa’s hand. “You’re such a mischievous girl. Why so shy? Look, my third son came
out to greet you himself. Come on, come with me.”
She dragged Louisa toward Julian.
Louisa said nothing.
She didn’t even know what expression to wear anymore.
Amelia was equally stunned. What was her mother saying? Had she been possessed by something?
She quietly followed them over.
The scene before her felt utterly surreal.
Adeline pulled Louisa in front of Julian and introduced him proudly. “Look, this is my third son, Julian.”
Louisa could only steel herself and greet him. “…Hello.”
She’d just pretend they didn’t know each other.
What else could she do?
Julian’s smile was amused. “Hello,”
Then he extended his hand, clearly offering a handshake.
Louisa glared at him: ‘Enough already!”
Now he was acting too.
Adeline looked thrilled, secretly nudging Louisa’s arm to encourage her to shake his hand.
Louisa fell silent.
Fine. Whatever.
She raised her hand.
She intended just to touch it briefly and pull away.

to let go.
Julian’s smile deepened. His beautiful eyes curved into a captivating arc as he looked at Louisa and asked his mother, “Mom, is this
the lifesaver you’ve been searching for every day? She really is as beautiful and enchanting as you said.”
Louisa wanted to kick him. Could he please stop talking?
Adeline watched her son holding the girl’s hand and refusing to let go. She was confused.
While this was what she’d hoped for, wasn’t her son being a bit too forward, grabbing the hand of a girl he’d just met?
She quickly swatted her son’s hand away, shot him a look, then pulled Louisa toward the private room.
As they walked, she explained to Louisa, “Were you startled? My son isn’t usually like this. He’s very well–mannered. Please don’t
take offense.”
Louisa’s mouth twitched. She said nothing.
They went inside.
Amelia finally snapped out of her daze and hurried to Julian’s side. “Julian, what’s going on? She’s Mom’s lifesaver?”
Julian didn’t explain. “Let’s go in.”
They followed into the room.
Inside, William and the other three siblings saw the situation and were equally stunned. What was happening?
They didn’t dare speak.
Adeline happily introduced her. “This is the girl who saved me before. I finally found her today.”
Everyone exchanged bewildered glances. They’d imagined a thousand scenarios for Adeline and Louisa meeting–but never this.
Alicia raised an eyebrow subtly, her smile playful. “Mom, is this the girl you described as stunningly beautiful, kind–hearted, brave,
resourceful, and commanding–the girl in the green dress?”
Adeline said, “Yes! I recognized her the moment I saw her.”
Jonathan looked speechless.
Justin silently gave his mother a thumbs up: Impressive.
William recovered and smiled warmly. “Well, we finally meet you in person. Thank you so much for saving my wife last time. The

Tudor family truly can’t repay you enough.”
Justin chimed in, ‘If we can’t repay her, Julian should marry her.”
Louisa said nothing.
So this whole family were drama queens.
Julian stepped forward, his expression serious. “Don’t worry, Dad. I’ll repay her properly.”
Louisa had given up on speaking.
She felt like a piece of jewelry on display in a shop window, standing here for everyone to admire.
‘Stay calm. Stay calm. Don’t crack.‘
She shot Julian a murderous glare: ‘Julian, are you addicted to this act?‘
Only Adeline had no idea what was really happening.
She even felt amazed–her son’s reaction was basically love at first sight, wasn’t it?
Earlier, her daughter had said Louisa had left upset, which had given her the idea to bring this girl over.
Sure enough, she knew her son would like her.
She beamed, pulling Louisa to sit down.
Julian was faster, wrapping his arm around Louisa’s shoulders with the gentlest smile. “She’s sitting with me.”
Adeline was shocked and disbelieving.
Outside, he’d held her hand and wouldn’t let go. Now he wanted to sit with her.
He wasn’t hiding his feelings for this girl at all.
But wasn’t he being way too forward?
She knew her third son’s personality–always steady, gentlemanly, reserved. Even if he liked someone, he wouldn’t be this direct or
proactive.
This was completely unlike him.
And wait–wasn’t he the one who’d sworn he’d only marry Louisa?
Was he changing his mind this fast?
