After the Affair Falling into a Billionaire's Arms novel Chapter 61

**Clocks Lie To Hearts by Asa River Flint**
**Chapter 61**

In that opulent mansion, a heavy silence enveloped the room, broken only by the sharp intake of breath from the onlookers. All eyes were riveted on George and Louisa, their expressions a mix of shock and horror.

Suddenly, a voice pierced the tension, shrill and panicked, “Blood! Blood! There’s so much blood!”

George’s gaze dropped instinctively to his hands, and a wave of nausea washed over him as he saw them—his fingers slick and crimson, the vibrant hue stark against his pale skin. Louisa’s delicate arm bore the same horrific stain, almost entirely drenched in red.

His heart raced, pupils dilating in shock. Panic surged through him like a tidal wave, and he could barely comprehend what was unfolding before his eyes. “You…” he stammered, the words barely escaping his lips, laden with disbelief.

What on earth was happening? He longed to ask, but his voice quaked with fear and uncertainty.

From the crowd, a commanding voice rang out, “Mr. Capulet, release her hand this instant!”

The urgency in the voice snapped George back to the present. He jerked his hand away from Louisa, the contact severed as if it burned him.

Yet, to his bewilderment, Louisa remained unnervingly composed. It was as if the injury to her wrist was an affliction belonging to someone else, as if the blood that flowed from her body was merely a cruel trick of fate. She felt no pain, only a chilling, unyielding gaze fixed upon him, devoid of warmth.

Finally, in a voice that cut through the chaos, she declared, “George, let’s divorce.”

His heart sank at her words. “No! Impossible! I told you we will never divorce!” he replied fiercely, desperation creeping into his tone.

Louisa remained silent, her expression resolute, an unyielding determination etched into her features. In that moment, she seemed invincible. No one, not even George, could deter her from her path now.

The spectators stood in hushed awe, their eyes darting between the two as the drama unfolded. The Price family, already humiliated beyond measure, began to gather themselves, ready to depart with Vivian in tow.

But then, as if awakened from a stupor, Vivian broke free from her family’s grasp. Her eyes were wild, and she dashed toward Louisa and George, a tempest of fury.

“George, you must divorce her! She’s tainted! She slept with five men at once—she’s completely ruined!”

Vivian’s voice rose to a fever pitch, and she turned on Louisa, her words venomous. “You filthy slut! After being with all those men last night, why didn’t they finish you off? Why don’t you just die? Die! Die!”

With a sudden burst of rage, she lunged forward, shoving Louisa with all her might. Taken by surprise, Louisa stumbled back, her balance wavering.

George’s heart raced as he shouted, “Louisa!” but it was too late.

Just as Louisa teetered on the brink of falling, an unexpected force steadied her, a hand resting firmly on her shoulder.

She turned to see Jilian’s deep, reassuring eyes meeting hers.

Gasps rippled through the crowd. “Mr. Tudor! It’s Mr. Tudor!”

Confusion swept over many as they murmured, “Which Mr. Tudor?”

“Which one do you think? The head of the Tudor Group!”

Everyone instinctively took a step back, distancing themselves from her as if her very presence could infect them.

Yet Julian remained steadfast, as did George, still processing this shocking revelation that had just unfolded.

Louisa, however, stood tall, a mocking smile creeping across her lips as she approached Vivian. “I had sex with five men? How would you know that?”

Vivian faltered, her words trapped in her throat. The crowd began to connect the dots—how did Vivian possess such intimate knowledge?

The only one who should have known was Hazel, who now appeared ghostly pale, her expression betraying her fear.

Louisa closed the distance between herself and Vivian, her gaze sharp and unyielding. “Since you’ve brought it up, let’s settle this account!”

With a cold laugh, she glanced at the Price family, then at the crowd, before finally locking eyes with Hazel’s ashen face. “So this is the daughter of the Price family? The perfect daughter-in-law that Ms. Gray carefully selected?

“A noble young lady who can commit evil with you, commit crimes with you, and go to prison with you. Excellent taste.”

Her words dripped with sarcasm, delivered with a smile that concealed a blade of frost. Hazel could only stare, rendered speechless.

As the realization dawned on the crowd, murmurs filled the air. “So everything Ms. Forbes said was true. Mrs. Hazel Capulet and Ms. Price conspired together to try to have her killed?”

No wonder Louisa had crashed the party in such a dramatic fashion. She hadn’t come to stir trouble; she had come for revenge.
