Ursa had told Hillarin advance which plate contained the walnut powder, and Hillary had already taken allergy medicine beforehand,

While everyone was busy talking about the saffron, Hillary quietly moved the specially patterned plate to the spot in front of her without anyone noticing.

Everything had been part of a carefully staged act between the two of them.

Now some random little kid had suddenly appeared and pointed at Ursa. Ursa immediately believed Agnes must have told the boy to say that.

“Andrew, tell me. How did you see this lady putting something into the plate?” Neal said.

Andrew answered, “I was playing hide–and–seek with the other kids just now. I was hiding under that table over there. That lady didn’t see me. I saw her looking around, and then she sprinkled some powder onto one of the plates.”

Neal smiled and patted Andrew on the head, telling him to go play.

Then he turned to the crowd and said, “Everyone, Andrew is still young, but he’s a child who has been raised with good manners and values. I believe he wouldn’t lie. Still, to make sure no innocent person is blamed, I suggest the Newtons review the surveillance footage carefully.”

“Oh, so they’re from the Ruells. I’ve heard the Ruells have very strict family values. They care a lot about manners and character. A child raised in that kind of family probably wouldn’t lie.”

“Right. I thought Ms. Ursa looked a little too emotional earlier. Turns out it might be a thief crying ‘stop thief and staging the whole thing herself.”

Recently, the Newtons had even been considering forming a marriage alliance with the Ruells. At á moment like this, she absolutely couldn’t embarrass herself in front of Neal.

“Wait. It looks like there really is a figure in the security footage.”

The person in charge of checking the surveillance cameras suddenly shouted.

Raymond rushed forward and carefully replayed the footage from several angles.

Standing nearby, Ursa had completely lost the arrogant attitude she had earlier. She looked completely deflated, shrinking back quietly without saying another word.

Agnes had seen everything clearly. Her stomach twisted with discomfort. It was the kind of nauseating feeling that made her insides churn.

Someone had clearly pointed out that it was Ursa. She had even seen the flash of blue in the video herself. It was obviously Ursa.
