Juliette snapped back, “Impossible! I’m not allergic to anything! I’m a 100% sure that it’s your gown that’s the problem!”
Agnes turned toward Polly. “Polly, go get our compliance certificates and papers.”
Polly quickly ran into the back office, returning just a little while later with a stack of files.
Agnes laid all the certificates and papers before Juliette and said, “Mrs. Ortiz, please take a look. All the gowns in our store, whether it’s the fabric, the dye, the accessories, or even the stitching, have all gone through rigorous testing and inspection. I can guarantee there is no problem with the quality. We only use premium materials that cost far more than what’s sold on the market. Since I opened this shop, we’ve never had an issue like this.”
Hearing this, Juliette seemed to get angrier and raised her voice even more, “What do you mean by that? Are you saying that I’m lying? Do you think I’m just here to cause trouble and scam you? Listen, my family doesn’t need your money! Even if you sell your store, that money means nothing to me!”
Juliette rolled her eyes at the certificates in front of her and continued, “Why are you showing me all these useless papers? I only came to you because I heard good things about Tidewhisper Lily! Who knows if any of these are even real?”
Agnes kept a polite smile on her face as she patiently explained, “You’ve got it all wrong, Mrs. Ortiz. I’m not trying to say that you’re lying. I’m just trying to tell you that the materials we use have a quality guarantee. How about this? I’ll go with you to the hospital to find out what caused these rashes.”
With impatience, Juliette snapped back, “No need! I’ve been to the hospital! The doctor is very sure that these rashes were caused by the gown and even suggested I take the gown for testing.”
Suddenly, she stepped closer toward Agnes, a mocking smile on her face. She looked at Agnes like she was a joke.
“Ms. Sinclair, guess what?”
Juliette reached into her bag and pulled out a yellow file, throwing it at Agnes.
“Take a look for yourself, Ms. Sinclair! I spent a lot of money to test this gown, and it’s a cheap. defective product!”
Agnes picked the file off the floor and looked through the documents in it.
The report clearly stated that the gown contained a low–grade toxic dye.

The file also contained a few pages of Juliette’s medical report from the hospital.

It confirmed that her skin had broken out into rashes and sores due to contact with harmful
substances.
Agnes frowned. She couldn’t believe what she was seeing as she continued to flip through the file.
Juliette let out a scornful laugh. “Enough, Ms. Sinclair. I can’t believe that a big brand shop like Tidewhisper Lily actually uses such low–grade dye. Is this how you treat your customers? We spend so much money just to get some trashy products?”
Agnes looked up with a troubled expression. “I’m sorry, Mrs. Ortiz. Can you give me some time to look into this? I promise to give you a full explanation once I’ve investigated this matter. I will also compensate you for your trouble and medical bills.”
Juliette let out a dry laugh and said, “Do you think I’m an idiot? Give you time? Time to destroy all the evidence?”
While they were talking, a group of uniformed officers arrived at the door.
The officer leading the group spoke, “Who’s the person in charge here?”
Confused, Agnes stepped up and said, “That’s me.”
The officer said, “I’m sorry, we’re inspectors from the Product Safety Department. We received a report that Tidewhisper Lily is suspected of using cheap, low–quality dyes that may endanger customers‘ health and safety. Everyone, please cooperate. We will need to inspect and test all the materials used in your store.”
As he finished speaking, the lead inspector showed Agnes his credentials and the relevant legal documents.
The inspectors behind him put on their gloves and masks before beginning their inspection of the store.
At that moment, someone rushed in, shouting at them in a panic.
“Hey! Who are you? Why are you doing this? Hey! Don’t touch those! They’re expensive!”
It was Nadia. She’d felt better that morning and had decided to stop by the studio,
However, the moment she’d arrived, she’d seen this commotion, and it looked like the studio was being torn apart.
Agnes stopped her. “They’re from the Product Safety Department. They have the legal documents needed. Let them do the inspection.
