The rich girls nearby jumped in, too.
"Exactly. If you bump into someone, apologizing is only right!"
Carmen's face turned dark. She had zero patience for this pack of idiots right now. In a cold voice, she snapped, "Get the hell out of my way! Move it or lose it! Unless you're looking to get run over!"
Brooke instantly exploded and shrieked, "What did you just say? Were you raised without manners? Where did this trashy woman come from, throwing a fit in public?
"Why are people like you even allowed at this event? Seriously, so low-class!"
Smack!
A loud slap cracked across Brooke's face, making her ears ring.
Brooke clutched her cheek and choked out, "Y-you hit me??? I... I'm calling 911! You're dead, you..."
Before she could finish, Carmen slapped her hard across the other side of her face, too.
Fire burned in Carmen's eyes. "Can't you understand simple language? Move!"
Then, she kicked another socialite straight aside.
They were all so scared they didn't dare make a sound and hurriedly moved out of the way.
All they dared do was mutter under their breath,
"What's wrong with her? She's so violent! And she actually hit people!"
"She probably escaped from a psych ward. Just like that Sinclair woman. Totally insane!"
"Brooke, are you okay?"
Brooke covered her red, swollen mouth and burst into ugly sobs.
"She's out of control! I'm calling 911 and having her arrested! Boohoo... how dare she hit me..."
Then, as if something had just occurred to her, she stopped crying and leaned in to whisper to Vivian.
"Looks like she figured something out. Serves them right. This is their karma!"
Vivian said, "Brooke, are you sure no one will find out?"
Brooke gave a sinister smile.
"I'm sure. One hundred percent sure. No one will find out. I spent forever studying it and testing it!"
Vivian looked in Carmen's direction and saw her anxiously running around, asking people questions.
A cold smirk curled on her lips.
Only if Agnes vanished from this world for good would everything finally be solved.
Carmen grew more and more frantic. Something had definitely happened to Agnes.
The island wasn't even that big. She had asked everyone, yet no one had seen Agnes.
Then, all of a sudden, Carmen thought of Neal. Had Agnes gone to find that man? Could it be that they...
At the open-air bar, she found Neal.
He was alone, holding a drink, leaning against the counter, staring out at the sea.
"Hey, Neal, has Agnes been here?" Carmen asked anxiously.
