A maid greeted Agnes warmly.

Agnes walked directly toward Raymond's study.

She was about to correct how the maid addressed her, when a sharp female voice sounded behind her.

"Ms. Sinclair! Please wait!"

Agnes turned around and saw a woman in a nurse uniform, gentle-looking and attractive.

The nurse approached her. As she passed the maid from earlier, she lowered her voice.

"Mr. Newton is single now. Don't use the wrong title again."

The maid nodded quickly and hurried off as if frightened.

Agnes had never seen this woman before. Feeling puzzled, she asked, "And you are..."

The nurse said, "Hello, Ms. Sinclair. I'm Mr. Newton's private senior nurse.

"My name is Clara Blue. I'm specifically responsible for his eye care and overall condition."

Agnes recalled the previous nurse and quickly asked,

"I haven't seen you before. Are you new? What happened to the former nurse?"

Clara said, "After evaluation by our hospital, we believed Mr. Newton required better care, so they assigned me here.

"I have ten years of professional nursing experience, and under my care, Mr. Newton has been recovering quite well."

Agnes smiled and nodded. The nurse appeared young, but her experience was impressive.

The more she looked at her, the more she felt Clara resembled a film star. Beautiful and competent. No wonder she stood out.

Agnes nodded politely.

"Then I'll have to trouble you to continue taking good care of him, Ms. Blue. I'm going to see Raymond now. We can talk another day."

With that, Agnes turned and walked toward Raymond's study.
