Raymond frowned slightly. “Got it.”

He turned back toward Agnes and said, “I’m leaving. Get some rest.”

Agnes had heard the driver too. That wave of disgust rose in her chest again. And he still dared to ask for her trust.

The moment Hillary called, he still rushed over like he was tied to her.

Outside, Rebecca, who had just finished watching a movie with a male classmate, saw a luxury car drive away from the entrance of the courtyard.

Agnes said, “Did he confess to you?”
