Bonnie
I know where Nick has gone. I know that he is dealing with the doctor and that he wants me to stay on our floor where he has made sure that lam guarded. If anything I think I’m way more guarded than necessary but I know that it’s what he needs to be able to do what he needs to do.
He needs to not have to worry about me and see that I’m safe while he talks with the doctor as he likes to call it but of course, we all know what that means and as much as I want to do as he asks and stay here until he comes back I have a feeling that all is not as it seems.
I have a total of five warriors guarding me and while I know three of them and have spoken to both Warren and Declan several times, I’ve only met Johnathan once, I instantly had a good feeling about him but! deh’t know the other two and I’m getting a real bad vibe from them.
I’ve hidden out in my bedroom since around five minutes after they got here but I still don’t feel any safer. My senses are at an all-time high and Lexi isn’t helping, she’s been voicing her own opinion on those two warriors and let’s just say that her words haven’t been very nice.
“We need to get out of here, Bonnie.” Lexi is one strong wolf but right now she’s anything but and it only increases my fears. If it was just me thinking this way then I could put it down to me being paranoid but with Lexi voicing the same thoughts I can’t ignore it. I have a pup to protect and over my dead body will let anything happen to him?
I stand up and take a deep breath before heading for my bedroom door. The only thing I can think to do right now is to sneak off our floor and while I know there is a chance that it is dangerous with everything that’s been going on, how I feel makes it a risk that I’m willing to take and besides, Nick’s dad is currently in his office helping out with some paperwork so if I head for him I won’t be on my own for long.
I quietly creep through the bedroom door and across the hallway but just as I’m about to reach the front door a conversation reaches my ears that has the hairs on my arms standing up to attention. I glue myself to the wall and concentrate on hearing as much as I can and within seconds I know that the ones talking are the two warriors that I am curious about.
“How are we going to do this with those pricks here?” Twat bag one asks.
“I don’t know but we need to figure it out and fast. I’m not sure how much longer we are going to be here and this is the closest that we have gotten to her on her own in weeks. We have to make this work.” Twat bag two says.
