Chapter 323: Investigation
Chapter 323: Investigation
(Natasha’s POV)
I stared at the glowing screen of my phone, my thumb hovering over the keypad.
It was time to end this ridiculous charade.

I couldn’t stomach pretending to be Amelia for one more second, not with this man’s ego inflating by the
minute.
My fingers flew across the screen as I typed out the brutal truth.
“Listen closely, Damien,” I wrote. “The person chatting with you all this time hasn’t been Amelia. It’s me,
Natasha.”
I hit send and immediately started typing the next part.
“I was just helping the future Luna deal with your relentless harassment. She hasn’t read a single word of your pathetic attempts at romance.”
I paused for a breath, then added the final blow.
“If you have even a shred of self–awareness left, you will stop bothering her immediately.”
I watched the “read” receipt appear.
The other end went silent.
Seconds ticked by, stretching into a minute.
Then, a reply popped up.
H
Six dots. That was it?
But then the messages started flooding in, fast and furious.
“You are haunting me like a ghost, Natasha!”
“I knew it. You are sabotaging my relationship with Amelia because you are secretly in love with me, aren’t you?”
“You’re jealous. That’s why you’re trying to destroy my chance at happiness.”
My jaw literally dropped.
I stared at the text, blinking rapidly.
This man’s narcissism wasn’t just a personality trait; it was a medical condition.

I scoffed aloud, attracting a weird look from my mom passing by the door.
My fingers twitched with the urge to strangle him through the internet.
“Only a ghost would like a delusionally arrogant Alpha like you,” I typed back furiously.
“I am doing this because I can’t stand seeing you act like a stray mongrel,” I added, not holding back. “You are barking at a door that will never open.”
“She is the future Luna of the Crimson Moon Pack. You are nothing but a nuisance.”
I took a breath and typed again.
“Since I have been the one replying to you this whole time, it proves that Amelia and you have zero chance
of reconciliation. She doesn’t care, Damien.”
I prepared one last mocking insult about his intelligence.
I hit send.
A red exclamation mark appeared next to my message.
*Message failed to send. You have been blocked by this user.*
“That coward!” I hissed, grinding my teeth.
He blocked me? He dared to block me after accusing me of loving him?
Rage bubbled in my chest.
I wasn’t going to let him get away with this delusion.
I scrolled through my contacts until I found a specific number.
Penelope Blackwood.
I dialed the number and pressed the phone to my ear.
(Natasha’s POV)
The line clicked open after two rings.
“Natasha?” Penelope’s voice was sharp, sounding bored. “To what do I owe the pleasure?”
I didn’t waste time on pleasantries.
“Your brother is harassing Amelia again,” I said, getting straight to the point.
Penelope let out a harsh, dry laugh.
“Tell me something I don’t know,” she sighed. “The boy is an idiot. I’ve told him a thousand times to give up.”
“It’s worse than just harassment this time,” I said, my voice dropping lower.

“He’s planning a grand gesture for Amelia’s birthday banquet.”
“Oh?” Penelope sounded skeptical. “Flowers? Another poem?”
“No,” I said clearly. “He intends to gift her 5% of the Blackwood Logistics Company shares.”
Silence fell on the other end of the line.
Then, a high–pitched scream nearly shattered my eardrum.
“WHAT?!”
Penelope’s composure evaporated instantly.

“That little fool!” she shrieked. “I thought he was going to the office every day because he finally developed
some Alpha responsibility!”
“He’s been finalizing share transfers?” Her voice shook with fury. “He wants to give away our family assets
to an ex–mate?”
“He thinks it proves his love,” I said dryly.
“It proves he has brain damage!” Penelope roared.
She took a deep, ragged breath.
“Thank you, Natasha. Truly.”
“I will handle this immediately,” she promised, her tone turning icy and ruthless. “If Damien doesn’t know the value of power, then he has no business holding any shares at all.”
“Good luck,” I said.
I hung up the phone and exhaled deeply, sinking back onto my pillows.
Finally, the pest was handled.
(Amelia’s POV)
I walked into my office at Starlight Entertainment, the morning sun streaming through the glass.
I reached into my bag and pulled out the small positioning device Jaxon had insisted I carry.
It was a sleek, discreet button.
I placed it carefully in my desk drawer and locked it.
My father’s overprotectiveness was stifling, but I knew it came from a place of love.
I opened my laptop and logged into the werewolf community forums.
The digital world was on fire.
The top search terms were all related to me.
