Chapter 212: The Scandalous Video
(Amelia’s POV)
The so–called Elite Werewolf Social Group fell into a dead silence. I watche
by how quickly their arrogance evaporated.
Ava flicked her tail lazily in my

“A pack of pups barking behind a fence,” she scoffed. “Show a little fang, and they tuck their tails
and run.”
Just then, a new message popped up, breaking the awkward stillness. It was Natasha.
[Natasha: Since everyone is so quiet, I’ll be the bookmaker! Does anyone have the guts to bet against Amelia?]
I raised an eyebrow. Natasha was certainly enjoying this. My fingers flew across the screen as !
sent a string of provocative messages.
[Amelia: What’s the matter? Are you all mute?]
[Amelia: I know you are terrified of the Drake family. But are you seriously afraid to offend a ‘country wolf‘ from Meadow Brook like me?]
[Amelia: If you don’t have the courage, just admit you are cowards and leave the group.]
My goading worked perfectly. A wolf named Lucas Lloyd couldn’t take the humiliation any longer. He was the son of Alpha Lloyd, a man with too much pride and too little sense.
[Lucas Lloyd: Shut up! You think you are invincible? I’ll take that bet!]
[Lucas Lloyd: I bet Starlight Entertainment will be crushed by Griffin Drake within two months. You will be bankrupt and begging on the streets.]
A cold smile curled the corners of my lips. I didn’t hesitate.
[Amelia: Deal. But let’s make the stakes interesting.]
[Amelia: The loser signs a contract. They must wear a collar, be walked on a leash like a dog in public, and lick the winner’s shoes clean.]
[Lucas Lloyd: You’re on! Prepare to lick my boots, country girl.]
(Jade’s POV)
The air in the VIP box on the top floor of the Night City Club was thick and suffocating. It smelled of expensive cigars and aged whiskey, a scent that barely masked the underlying stench of

Griffin sat in the center of the leather sofa like a king on his throne. He swirled the amber liquid in his glass, soaking in the flattery of the sycophants around him.
Lucas Lloyd leaned in, his face flushed with excitement and alcohol.
“Mr. Drake, you should have seen the group chat,” Lucas bragged, his voi subservience. “I just put that arrogant Amelia in her place. We made a b

caught in a trap.
“She won’t last long enough to pay up,” Griffin said lazily.
At that moment, Griffin’s assistant stepped forward. He checked his watch and announced a piece
of heavy news.
“Sir, everything is ready. At eight o’clock tonight, the explosive video regarding Amelia will be released across the entire network.”
The atmosphere in the box shifted instantly. The men erupted into lewd laughter.
“I can’t wait to see Theodore’s face,” one man sneered. “His fiancée, exposed for everyone to see.”
“I bet she’s wild,” another added, using filthy language to describe what they expected to see.
I sat to the side, gripping my wine glass so hard my knuckles turned white. A wave of intense nausea rolled through my stomach. I wanted to vomit.
Suddenly, I felt a cold gaze burning into me. I looked up to see Griffin’s sinister grey eyes locked
onto my face.
“Jade,” he said coldly. “Where did you hide Celine?”
My heart skipped a beat.
“I still need that woman,” Griffin continued, his voice devoid of any warmth. “She useful pawn against Amelia. Bring her to me.”
Panic flared in my chest, but I forced it down. I quickly adjusted my expression, twisting my features into a mask of ugly jealousy.
“That b***h?” I spat, slamming my glass onto the table. “I was sick of you asking about her.”
I stood up, feigning anger. “I was jealous! You kept paying attention to that fake daughter. So I had my people beat her up and dump her on the roadside hours ago.”
I squeezed out a few fake tears, my voice rising in a shrill complaint. “Who knows if she is dead or alive? Are you going to blame your own fiancée for a fraud?”

Griffin stared at me for a long, tense moment. I held my breath, praying my performance was convincing.
Finally, his arrogance won out. He believed that a female’s jealousy was the only reason for my actions.
“You are a fool,” he muttered impatiently. “Don’t do again. Sit down.”
(Jade’s POV)
The clock on the wall ticked closer to the hour. Finally, the hands aligned at eight o’clock sharp.
“It’s time!” Lucas Lloyd shouted, pulling out his phone. “Everyone, get your phones out! Let’s watch Amelia Stone’s reputation burn!”
Griffin maintained his reserved posture, but a cruel, expectant smile played on his lips. He took a
sip of his drink, waiting for the show.
On social media, the hashtags exploded instantly. #AmeliaStoneScandal and #CrimsonFamilyDishonor shot to the top of the trending list.
“Here it is!” Lucas announced, clicking the video link.
The video began to play on everyone’s screens simultaneously. The room was filled with the initial
sounds of the clip.
But then, the rowdy laughter and jeering in the VIP box cut off abruptly. It was as if someone had choked the sound out of every man in the room.
A deathly silence descended. It was heavy and terrifying.
Griffin frowned, sensing the shift. He looked around. The men weren’t looking at their screens with lust or mockery anymore. They were looking at Griffin with eyes full of horror and disbelief.
Lucas Lloyd’s face turned as pale as a sheet of paper. His hand trembled violently, and his phone slipped from his grip, clattering loudly onto the marble table.
“What is going on?” Griffin asked, his voice sharp with displeasure.
I knew this was my cue. I let out a piercing scream that tore through the silenc
“Griffin!” I shrieked, throwing my phone directly at him. “How could you!”
I covered my mouth, acting as if I was on the verge of a breakdown. “That is your own uncle! That is Carlos Drake!”
Griffin caught the phone instinctively, his brow furrowed in confusion.
“If you like men,” I yelled, my voice trembling with fake disgust, “if you are into i****t with your own relatives, then why did you get engaged to me? This is absolutely sickening!”
