I watched the provocations scroll by in the group chat.

My fingers danced lightly across the screen.

A cold smirk curled the corners of my lips.

I typed a reply to Lucas.

[Oh, that actually makes sense. Trash belongs in the same trash bin. I never thought much of Ethan’s taste

in directors anyway. Now that your master Griffin Drake is willing to handle the recycling for me, I should

say thank you.]

Lucas was evidently triggered.

He replied instantly.

[Amelia, what do you mean by that? Are you saying Director Bruno is trash?]

I didn’t hesitate.

[I’m not just saying he is trash. I’m also calling you a yapping mutt.]

The group chat fell into a deathly silence.

No one dared to type a single letter.

A moment later, a voice message from Lucas popped up.

Livia buried her face in her hands and wept loudly.
