“Ethan, did Celine contact you?”

As soon as Livia left the hospital room, Caleb sat down on the chair beside the bed.

He looked at his brother with a tense expression.

Ethan paused, shifting his gaze away from his phone screen.

He looked at his younger brother and nodded slowly. “She did. She just sent me a message.”

Caleb frowned immediately.

Disgust dripped from his voice. “Didn’t I warn that imposter not to bother you anymore?”

He paused, his jaw tightening.

“What does Celine want? Is she crying about her biological father beating her to death again? Is she trying

to trick you into saving her?”

Caleb let out a scoff.

“I knew she was lying. If she were really being beaten to death, how would she have the strength to send

text messages?”

Just then, Ethan’s phone vibrated.

It was a reply from the former female subordinate at Starlight Entertainment.

Ethan quickly opened the message.
