Chapter 319: Jasper’s Intentions
Chapter 319: Jasper’s Intentions
(Amelia’s POV)
“You found Theron’s location so quickly?” I stared at him in surprise.
Theodore offered a meaningful, almost wolfish smile.
“I always knew where he was,” he admitted. “I just pretended not to.”
I raised an eyebrow. “So, we are going to see Victor to put on a show?”

“Exactly,” he nodded, his eyes gleaming with calculation. “I need him to believe he has grabbed my
weakness.”
My eyes lit up instantly.
*What a cunning Alpha,* Ava purred in my mind. *He controls the board while letting the prey think they are the hunters. It is intoxicating.*
She wagged her tail excitedly within my consciousness.
I chuckled, teasing him. “Theodore, you really are a master manipulator. You are going to act weak just to trap him.”
“It is necessary,” he replied.
“Interesting,” I grinned. “Let’s go then. I can’t wait to see this performance.”
We sat in the back of the luxury sedan as it sped toward the outskirts of Northgate City.
A small table was set up between us.
Theodore sliced into a piece of rare venison. The meat was red and juicy, providing the sustenance
his wolf needed.
I placed my hands on his knees.
I closed my eyes, channeling warm healing energy into his damaged legs.
“Jasper contacted me last night,” Theodore said between bites.
I opened my eyes, surprised. “Your brother?”
“He wants to attend your birthday banquet,” Theodore explained.
“I don’t really know him well,” I said. “Why the sudden interest?”

“He asked specifically if Alpha King Gideon and I would be present,” Theodore said.
I understood immediately.
Jasper wanted to use my birthday to make contact with the Alpha King for the first time.

“He also said he is coming alone,” Theodore added, wiping his mouth with a napkin. “He isn’t bringing that rogue wolf, Uncle Mason.”
I continued guiding the warm energy through his nerves.
“What do you think he intends to do?” I asked.
Theodore paused, looking out the tinted window.
“I suspect a disagreement between him and his foster father,” he mused.
“They both want to act alone,” he continued. “Neither wants the other to face the dangers of the
Crimson family.”
I was momentarily speechless.
I looked at the powerful man beside me with a sudden pang of sympathy.
Jasper and Uncle Mason shared a bond thicker than blood. They were trying to protect each other.
Theodore, the actual biological brother, seemed like an outsider in comparison.
“It sounds like you are the extra one here,” I noted softly. “They have a deep bond.”
Theodore shrugged, a self–deprecating smile on his lips.
“As long as my brother is safe, I don’t mind being the outsider,” he said calmly.
Seeing he was truly unbothered, I pulled out my phone.
I messaged the event planner immediately. “Add Jasper Calder to the official guest list.”
By the time we arrived at Victor’s private manor, the treatment session was finished.
The car stopped in front of the imposing gates.
I helped Theodore into his wheelchair and pushed him toward the grand entrance.
Vivian stood in the hall. Her face was twisted with resentment, but she forced a polite mask.
“My brother isn’t home,” she lied through gritted teeth. “You wasted a trip.”
Theodore didn’t even blink at the clumsy falsehood.
“Tell Victor this,” Theodore said, his voice dropping an octave. “Return Theron to the Pack’s

sanitarium immediately.”
He leaned forward slightly, his eyes narrowing.
“If he doesn’t, your family’s assets in the Badlands will vanish overnight.”
A heavy Alpha pressure radiated from him, filling the room with suffocating intensity.

“Behave yourselves before I officially ascend to the throne,” he warned. “Or the consequences will
be severe.”
Vivian flinched, anger warring with fear in her eyes.
She glanced at me, clearly wary of the ‘Shadow Queen‘ reputation I carried.
She swallowed her fear and sneered. “The heir hasn’t been decided yet, Theodore. Don’t get ahead
of yourself.”
Theodore laughed lightly.
“If you don’t believe me, feel free to keep gambling,” he said.
He signaled for me to turn the wheelchair. We left without another word.
“She has become cautious,” I mocked as we walked out into the sunlight. “At least she has some
self–awareness now.”
(Vivian’s POV)
I watched the taillights of their expensive car disappear down the driveway.
My hands shook with rage as I pulled out my phone and dialed Victor.
“They just left,” I hissed the moment he picked up.
I recounted everything Theodore had said, word for word.
“What is the point of kidnapping that old fool Theron?” I demanded. “It is just bringing Theodore’s
wrath down on us!”
Victor was silent for a long moment on the other end.
“It’s not just about threatening Theodore,” he finally admitted. “I am working with Garrett Crimson.”
My blood ran cold. “Garrett?”
“Are you crazy?” I asked. “Garrett is a snake.”
