Chapter 347: New Songs Released!
(Author’s POV)
Caleb sat alone in the dim room. The cold light of his phone screen illuminated his anxious face.
As a singer once sought after in the werewolf entertainment circle, he had never found a social media post so tricky to handle. In the past, these public relations trifles were handled entirely by Katya,
He only needed to be responsible for radiating charm on stage and singing his heart out. But now, without a manager, he had to weigh every single word himself.
It wasn’t until eleven o’clock at night that Caleb finally settled on a line of text. He typed it out with trembling fingers.
*[This song is dedicated to the one who left me. Watch me rise from this.]*
He did not choose to send it on a timer. He took a deep breath and clicked the publish button directly.
The moment the post went live, his heart hammered against his ribs. Before long, his homepage was
flooded with comments from fans.
A large number of fanatical fans left messages expressing distress. They vowed to guard his glory forever.
They accused “her“-the mysterious person who made Caleb so humble–of not being worthy of his dedication. Many fans even competed in the comments section, expressing their willingness to become
the mate who soothed his wounded soul.
Of course, Amelia’s supporters also quickly captured the comments section. They mocked Caleb for only knowing how to play the victim to win sympathy.
Fans on both sides launched a fierce scolding war on the network. The internet was ablaze with insults
and defense.
The smell of gunpowder in the real world was no less intense than on the internet. Griffin Drake was determined to make Amelia lose face completely.
He specifically set up a huge electronic screen in the most prominent position of Club Onyx. It displayed the voting page of the Showdown in real–time.
On the screen, Caleb’s support rate was far ahead. Someone in the club had even opened a betting pool.
Because the public generally looked down on Amelia as an inexperienced outsider, the odds of buying her to win were ridiculously high. Natasha and Damien appeared in front of the bar almost at the same time.
“I want to bet on Amelia winning,” they shouted to the dealer in unison.
Damien turned his head and glared at Natasha. He felt she was an eyesore.
“Why are you copying me? Damien sneered, his arrogance overflowing. “Do you think this targeted
behavior will get my attention?”

He fixed his collar, looking at her with disdain. “Are you trying to flirt with me in this alternative way?”
Natasha rolled her eyes, but Damien ignored her disgust. He slammed a black card onto the counter.
“My heart only belongs to Amelia, Damien declared loudly. “I am betting five hundred thousand dollars on
her?
Just then, a figure rushed over like a whirlwind. A hand slammed down on top of the black card.
It was Penelope Blackwood. She looked furious.
“What are you doing? Damien demanded impatiently, trying to pull his card free. “Let go, Penelope.”
The eldest daughter of the Blackwood family did not show mercy this time. She raised her hand and slapped Damien hard across the face.
*Smack!*
The crisp sound made the surroundings instantly quiet. Damien held his cheek, stunned.
“You stupid disgrace,” Penelope scolded, her voice dripping with ice. “Not only are you embarrassing us
outside, but you are also trying to squander pack assets.”
She stepped closer, forcing him to back away. Her green eyes flashed with a warning.
“If you dare to go to Amelia’s birthday party tomorrow and act crazy, I will handle you myself,” she hissed.
“I will really suggest to Father that he strip your inheritance and expel you from the family.”
Damien paled. He knew his sister did not make empty threats.
Penelope signaled the bodyguards. “Take him home. Lock him in his room.”
After the bodyguards forcibly dragged the shouting Damien away, Penelope turned to Natasha. She nodded politely.
“Thank you for the reminder,” Penelope said, her tone professional. “If not for you, the Blackwood family’s funds would have been given to the dealer by that family shame.”
Natasha shrugged. “I just didn’t want him to ruin the betting pool.”
“The Blackwood family is not like other wealthy families,” Penelope said frankly. “We do not kill each other for the position of Alpha.”
She glanced at the door where her brother had vanished. “I just hope that stupid brother of mine can keep to himself and stay out of trouble.”
Penelope turned and walked away, her heels clicking on the floor. Natasha watched her retreating back. with a complicated expression.
She couldn’t help but think of the Crimson family. She thought of the bloody power struggles and the

internal strife that had cost Theodore his legs.
The contrast left a bitter taste in her mouth. She shook her head to clear the thoughts.

“Put two hundred thousand on Amelia Stone,” Natasha told the dealer decisively. “I am supporting my
cousin’s mate.”
(Amelia’s POV)
The bell of midnight had just passed. My phone began to vibrate incessantly on the nightstand.
The screen lit up with notification after notification. The blessing messages were more dense than
greetings on Christmas day.
The first message to pop up was from Theodore. I opened it, and a warmth spread through my chest.
His text was short but filled with deep affection. In my mind, Ava wagged her tail excitedly, sensing the
bond.
Immediately after came messages from Jaxon and Seraphina. Then came texts from Rowan and other
friends.
Natasha, Jade York, Zoey, and my secretary Anya all sent their well–wishes. The phone kept buzzing in my
