“Move out of my fucking way,” I growled, not bothering with
pleasantries. The crowd parted instantly, recognizing the command of
an Alpha, some of them actually whimpering as they stepped aside.
Below on the lower deck, a body lay sprawled near the edge,
surrounded by crewmembers. For one heart–stopping moment, I
thought it might be Elsa, my breath catching painfully in my throat.
But as I got closer, I realized it was a young male server who had
apparently slipped on the wet deck.
A momentary relief washed over me, my shoulders slumping slightly, quickly replaced by renewed urgency. If Elsa wasn’t here, where the
hell was she?
“It’s not her,” Jason said quietly beside me, as if reading my thoughts.
I shot him a cold look, my eyes flashing gold again. “No shit, I can see that,” I snapped, running a hand through my hair in frustration.
“Drake… I’m sure she’s fine. Elsa’s strong–she wouldn’t do anything
reckless.”
I pulled out my phone again, hitting redial so hard my finger hurt.

This time, instead of ringing, it went straight to voicemail. Her phone
was off or dead. “Goddammit!” I snarled, shoving the phone back in
my pocket.
“Get the security team,” I ordered Jason, my voice thick with barely
contained rage. “I want to check the security footage. NOW.”
The ship’s monitoring room was small and cramped, filled with
screens showing various angles of the yacht. The security officer, a
balding wolf with nervous eyes, flinched visibly as I entered, the scent
of my anger filling the small space.
“M–Mr. Stone, how can I—”
“Pull up the footage from the main hall, starting from about two hours ago,” I interrupted, slamming my palm on the desk beside him.
‘I need to locate Ms. Hale. Right. Fucking. Now.”
The officer nodded quickly and began typing commands, his fingers
trembling. The screens flickered, showing different angles of the
main hall. It took a few minutes of scanning before we spotted her.
Elsa sat alone in a chair, her posture unnaturally rigid. Even through
the grainy footage, I could see something was wrong. Her normally
alert eyes seemed unfocused, and her movements as she tried to
stand were sluggish and uncoordinated.

“What the hell is wrong with her?” I demanded, leaning closer to the
screen, my knuckles white as I gripped the edge of the desk.
“She looks… drugged,” Jason muttered, and the thought sent a wave
of cold fury through me, my vision momentarily tinging red.
We continued watching as Elsa stumbled toward the elevators. Two
men I didn’t recognize approached her, their body language
immediately setting off warning bells in my head. One of them said
something that made the other laugh, then reached out to touch
Elsa’s hair.
My hands clenched into fists, claws partially extending into my
palms, drawing blood as I watched her try to push them away, only to
lose her balance and fall to the floor, her golden hair spilling around
her. Her elegant dress was already stained and rumpled.
“Who the fuck are those men?” I snarled, the desk beneath my hands
cracking under the pressure of my grip.
The security officer frantically checked other camera angles, sweat
beading on his forehead. “I don’t have clear IDs on them, sir. They
appear to be guests from the Silver Moon pack’s delegation.”
The thought of Silver Moon wolves touching what was mine sent a
primal rage coursing through me. I slammed my fist on the desk,
