Alpha’s Rue: His Shunned Luna (Athena Enchanted) novel Chapter 531

Chapter 531

“Hmm?”

“Kingston marked you before you two were married, and you had a flash marriage.” She says, “How is it that you haven’t marked him too? Why is that?”

“Oh,” I nod. “I haven’t really thought about it, and he hasn’t asked, so I just thought to leave it.”

“Leave it?” She frowns, “You need to mark him.” She tells me, “You have a mark on you that tells everyone who you belong to, but you’re letting what belongs to you walk around unmarked?”

“She has a point,” Danielle says. “People might get the wrong idea about the dynamics of your relationship. Marks go both ways” she swallows, rubbing her neck.

River nods, still oblivious to the nasty little game that Noah is playing with Danielle. Which surprises me because she didn’t want to come here after seeing her. “Really?” Noah asks, staring at Danielle but she doesn’t look at her, instead, Dani grabs a glass of water.

“When Kingston marked me, I was trying to turn away,” I tell them. “He didn’t mark me passionately, it was out of spite, he wanted to put a tracker on me in case I still ran away. Without it, I would have run, and I guess for a while I held that against him, but I’m glad he did it.”

River nods, “So when are you marking my brother-in-law? He needs something that says he is yours. Everyone knows that already but it’s still a nice touch.”

“This might be a bad time to tell you that we don’t use the bond to communicate.”

“What?” River gasps, “You’re kidding.”

Nope,” I shake my head. “I don’t like the sudden intrusion. There are already two of us in this body, I don’t want a third. Lumi and I are still getting used to each other.”

“So you two are just always eye fucking each other from across the room? No conversations?” She frowns. “That’s insane, and also very much you.”

“There was a time when we attended a meeting at his parents’ house,” I swallow. “He used the bond to get in my head and I nearly lost it. I asked him not to do it again, and it must be the best decision I made because he’d just be showing me all the nasty things he wants to do to me.”
