Alpha’s STOLEN Mate

Chapter 139

Elowen

I stumbled out of Evelyn’s room at nearly midnight, my cheeks still aching from laughter. Tonight’s “decompression marathon” had been exactly what I needed-starting with an obscene amount of junk food, progressing to rating shirtless male models (Scarlett had strong opinions about abs-to-height ratios), then devolving into increasingly explicit debates about sex.

“I’m telling you, being with two men at the same time is just… too much to handle!” Scarlett had insisted, her face bright red. “Like, physically, how would that even work?”

“Oh please, it works perfectly!” Evelyn had countered with that wicked grin. “One cock in your pussy, one down your throat-or if you’re really adventurous, both holes filled at once. The stretch, the fullness, being completely stuffed and used? Fucking incredible.”

Scarlett had covered her face with a pillow, groaning. “I can’t believe we’re having this conversation!”

“You started it!” I’d laughed.

By the time we’d moved on to reading increasingly ridiculous erotic novels out loud, I’d laughed so hard I could barely breathe.

Now, back in my own chambers, I flopped onto my bed in a dramatic starfish position, staring at the ceiling with a genuine smile.

This is good. This is what I need. Just… move forward.

I let my mind wander to practical matters. Maybe I should return to the human world, pick up some consulting work. Or focus on finding the missing pack members-that investigation had stalled completely with all the chaos involving Kaius and the Elders.

But somehow, every train of thought circled back to the same place. The same face.

His stupid, arrogant, handsome face.

“God damn it,” I muttered, grabbing a pillow and pressing it over my face. “Elowen! If you let that man occupy your brain for one more second, I’m going to suffocate myself!”

I held my breath, the pillow blocking out light and air, determined to think about literally anything else-

Pain.

Sharp, sudden, crushing pain that had nothing to do with oxygen deprivation.

I threw the pillow aside, gasping. My hand flew to my chest, clutching at the mate bond that pulsed there like an open wound.

Fuck. No. Not this. Anything but this.

But the bond didn’t care what I wanted. It never had.

Images flooded my mind-not my own memories, but his. Sensations I didn’t want to feel, scenes I desperately didn’t want to witness.

Kaius. Naked. His body moving with athletic grace, muscles flexing under candlelight.

And beneath him-fuck-Rowan.

No no no no-

I tried to shut it out, to slam mental walls between us, but the mate bond was merciless. It forced me to experience everything. Every

touch, every movement, every goddamn position.

My stomach heaved as I felt phantom sensations-his hands on skin that wasn’t mine, his mouth on places that made me want to vomit. The bond transmitted it all with brutal clarity: the taste of her on his lips, the sound of her moaning his name, the—

Fuck! Are they seriously—

Oral. Then something that made my entire face burn with humiliation and fury. They cycled through positions I didn’t even know were anatomically possible, each more degrading than the last.

I rolled off the bed and barely made it to the chamber pot before dry heaving. Nothing came up-I hadn’t eaten enough at dinner-but my body convulsed anyway, trying to physically expel the psychological poison flooding through the bond.

“You fucking bastard,” I sobbed, clutching the edge of the pot. “You fucking-how could you-”

But they didn’t stop. They went on. And on. And on.

All night, I was trapped in my own personal hell, forced to experience my mate fucking another woman in excruciating detail. Every time I thought it was finally over, the sensations would start again-renewed energy, new positions, endless stamina fueled by God knows what

enhancements.

I spent the night alternating between sobbing into my pillows and cursing them both with every vile word I knew. By the time dawn light crept through my windows, my voice was hoarse, my eyes were swollen, and my sheets were soaked with tears and sweat.

These fucking dogs have the stamina to go all night, I thought bitterly, finally feeling the sensations fade as they apparently collapsed in

exhaustion.

I didn’t sleep. I just lay there, staring at nothing, feeling hollowed out and filthy despite not having moved from my bed.

I woke to aggressive knocking sometime around noon, my head pounding like I’d been hit with a hammer.

“Elowen! Lunch! Open up!” Scarlett’s voice filtered through the door.

I groaned, pulling the blanket over my face. “Go away.”

The door opened anyway-I really needed to start locking it. Evelyn and Scarlett entered carrying trays of food, their cheerful expressions

fading as they took in the state of my room.

“Holy shit,” Scarlett breathed.

Evelyn set down her tray and moved to the bed, her witch’s senses immediately reading the situation. “Our Alpha had quite a long night, I

see.”

Scarlett looked confused. “What do you mean?”

I glared at Evelyn through puffy eyes, willing her to shut up.

But Evelyn was already examining my tear-stained sheets with clinical interest. “Look at all this moisture! I knew those novels would get our Alpha worked up, but this is impressive dedication!”

“That’s my fucking TEARS!” I exploded, sitting up so fast my head spun.

Evelyn’s smile froze. “Fuck. You cried all night?”

“Is this about the decompression party?” Scarlett asked worriedly. “Did we push too far with the explicit stuff? I’m sorry, I thought it was

helping-

“No!” I rubbed my face roughly. “It’s not-fuck, it’s the bond. The mate bond.” I looked at Evelyn, who was already putting the pieces together. “I didn’t just cry all night. I was in pain all night.”

I stood up abruptly, stalking toward Evelyn with murderous intent. “Because apparently my dear mate decided to fuck his Elder bitch for

twelve straight hours!”

Evelyn dodged my grab with practiced ease, but her expression had gone serious. “Shit. You felt all of it through the bond?”

“Every. Single. Thrust.” My voice cracked. “Every position, every-God, I need a shower. I feel dirty and I wasn’t even there.”

Scarlett’s face had gone pale with sympathetic horror. “Men are such pigs.” Her voice carried the weight of her own betrayal by Frost. “Alpha, you need to sever that bond. Immediately.”

“I know!” I collapsed back onto the bed. “But I can’t just… I don’t want to see him. And he probably won’t even agree to reject me

properly.”

Evelyn’s eyes gleamed with mischief despite the serious situation. “Well, if he hurt you this badly, maybe we need to make him jealous. I can find you the three hottest, most athletic wolves within a hundred miles. You take all three at once, and I guarantee he’ll be on his

knees begging to sever the bond.”

My face burned. ‘FUCK! You’re the one who needs three men, not me!*

“I mean, I’m not opposed to the idea, Evelyn said thoughtfully.

We were still bickering when Evelyn suddenly went still, her expression shifting to that distant look she got when sensing magic.

“Someone’s in the Silent Forest,” she announced. “Waiting at the border. Seeking an audience.“
