He unlocked his personal phone, hoping to see a message from Natasha.

After sending the message, he tossed his phone onto the bed and headed to the bathroom for a shower.

When he came out of the bathroom, he heard his phone ringing.

Jared was only wearing a white towel around his waist.

He was drying his hair as he walked over to pick up the phone.

“Sharon?”

It was his sister, Sharon, calling.

“I told you to help me pick. Don’t think you can get rid of me with some half-assed reply!” Sharon complained, clearly annoyed.

Jared sighed and looked over the photos she’d just sent again.

Without even realizing it, he started imagining Natasha wearing each of those bags.

Finally, he settled on one for Sharon.

Jared showed her the photo, saying, “This one. The color suits you.”

Sharon’s eyes lit up the moment she saw it. “We totally have the same taste! This is a limited edition Chanel bag. You can’t even find it at most…”

“Is it just me, or do all women go crazy for designer bags?” Jared cut her off.

Sharon was one of the rare heiresses who kept things low-key.

“Of course! No woman can ever escape the allure of designer bags,” Sharon replied.

Then, suddenly catching on, she asked, “Why are you asking me this out of the blue? Wait, are you planning to buy a designer bag for someone?”

She’d never seen her brother care this much about any female client before.

Jared replied, “Don’t ask. Just help me pick a bag for a young woman and send it to me!”

Sharon was about to press him further, but Jared had already hung up.

She squinted. ‘A female client who could make her brother put in so much effort had to be someone special, huh? Did my brother get interested in some pretty girl?’

“You seriously don’t know what day I’m coming back?” he said, his expression turning cold.

“No, I don’t. Did you ever tell me?” she asked.

They’d both been busy with their own stuff these past few days.

They hadn’t even had a chance to reach out to each other.

Natasha had thought he’d be gone for a few more days.

So, she didn’t expect him to show up that night.

Jared’s face turned cold. “I told you. You’re the one who didn’t bother to listen.”

“Wait, when did you say that?” Natasha asked, still confused.

They’d barely talked these past few days. ‘When did he ever mention it?’

Jared’s voice was cold. “I left you a message the first day I went on the business trip. You can check the records yourself.”
