Natasha was brought onto the extremely luxurious yacht by Collin.

Jared noticed her the moment she appeared. He didn’t expect her to be here tonight. And she was dressed so revealingly.

‘What is she trying to do?’ Jared wondered. ‘Who is she here to hook up with?’

This yacht party was also known as the “Sea and Sky Feast.”

The wealthy young elites in their circle hosted one of these parties every so often.

They invited many female celebrities, models, and escorts to keep the men company.

It was a gathering place for the rich and powerful. It was also famous for burning through money.

Jared thought, ‘Is she here tonight just like those women, trying to hook a sugar daddy?’

The thought made his mood even worse. His gaze toward her turned darker and colder.

“Hey, what did you bring me here for?” Natasha asked.,

She clearly felt uncomfortable in this kind of environment. So she turned toward Collin beside her.

Tonight, Natasha had been forced to come by him. She had no idea beforehand that they were attending a yacht party like

this.

Now, she looked around the yacht. Beautiful women with stunning figures were everywhere.

They posed and flirted openly with groups of well-dressed rich men. It wasn’t hard to guess what kind of party this really

was.

The worst part was that Collin had even picked out a very revealing dress for Natasha and forced her to wear it.

Natasha complained inwardly, ‘Is he expecting me to come here and seduce some man too?’

“Jared is on this yacht tonight. Come on. I’ll take you to find him,” Collin said as he grabbed her wrist and started pulling her through the crowd.

The moment Natasha heard the name Jared, her eyelid twitched. She stopped walking immediately.

“Wait. Explain first,” Natasha said. “Why did you bring me here to see Jared? Don’t tell me this is about him.”

A bad feeling suddenly crept into Natasha’s mind. She murmured, ‘I knew nothing good would come from Collin dragging

me here.

‘But I never expected Mr. Rundell to be here tonight. We’re only boss and employee.’

Natasha didn’t want to get too close to Jared in private. It would look like she was deliberately trying to get close to him.

Collin rubbed his nose awkwardly. “I’m a little short on cash lately. Help me out.”

Natasha frowned. “You gambled again?”

Collin had always been spoiled by Bernard, Roxanne, and Sandra. Normally, he had more money than he could spend.

But some time ago, he went to an underground casino with a group of shady friends. In a single night, he almost lost everything.

Bernard had beaten him badly afterward. Only Roxanne and Sandra begging for mercy had stopped it. Yet he still hadn’t learned his lesson.

“Not this time,” Collin said quickly. “A while ago, I invested in a project with some friends, but it failed. You know how strict Dad has been with my money since the gambling incident.

“I had no choice but to borrow some funds from Walcott Inc. to keep things moving. Now the project failed and I can’t pay the money back. If Dad finds out, he’ll beat me to death.”

Natasha was stunned. “Walcott Inc. deals with some pretty dangerous people. You actually borrowed money from them?”

Collin nodded grimly. “They’re not people you want to mess with. If I can’t pay them back, things will get ugly. But I heard they want to do a business deal with Jared. If you can convince him to work with them, they might wipe my debt.” Natasha was puzzled. ‘Convince Jared to make a deal? If it were a normal business deal, would it really need to happen like this?’

Natasha was certain that whatever deal this was, it probably wasn’t clean.

She didn’t want anything to do with it. And she definitely didn’t want to ask Jared for something like that.

Natasha tried to dodge the request. She said, “Come on, you’re giving me way too much credit. I’m just Jared’s assistant.

“Why don’t you just tell me how much you owe Walcott Inc.? Maybe we can figure out a way to pay it back.”

In Natasha’s opinion, paying money back was easier than owing someone a favor. Especially if the favor was owed to Jared.

Their relationship wasn’t close enough for her to ask him for help. Even if he did agree, Natasha would never be able to repay that kind of favor.

Therefore, it would be better to find a way to gather the money for Collin.

Collin hesitated before answering, “It’s only about… 100 million dollars.”

Natasha froze in shock. “What? 100 million dollars? That much?”

She thought, ‘Last time, he owed 10 million dollars in gambling debt, and it had already made Dad furious.

‘Now, the number has jumped more than ten times. He really has some nerve.’

Collin tried to defend himself. “It didn’t start that high. I only borrowed 3 million dollars for the investment. But the interest kept piling up and somehow it turned into this.”

If he hadn’t been so desperate for money lately, Collin wouldn’t have helped Gordon last time when Gordon offered him money to get Natasha.

Natasha pressed her hand to her forehead. Her head throbbed.

She never expected Collin to go this far. Now, he owed over a hundred million.

‘How could anyone possibly pay that back? This is impossible, Natasha thought. She suspected Collin had been set up again.

Just as she was thinking about calling the police, a familiar voice suddenly spoke nearby. “Isn’t that Ms. Whittier?”

The man walking over was none other than Nicolas.

The moment Nicolas saw Natasha, his eyes lit up and he headed straight toward them.

Natasha nodded politely at him, but she hesitated. She wasn’t sure how she should address him now.

Collin spoke first. “Hey, Nicolas. There you are. Joelle is been looking for you everywhere lately.”

Only then did Nicolas glance at him. He asked, “And you are…?”

Collin introduced himself quickly. “I’m Joelle’s brother. Collin.”

Even though Nicolas didn’t like Joelle at all, they were still married in name. That made the man in front of him his brother-

in-law.

Nicolas had seen him briefly at the wedding reception, but he didn’t remember him well.

Still, realizing that he was also Natasha’s brother, Nicolas lowered his guard and chatted with him for a moment.

Collin was practically flattered.
