Chapter 311 Ruin Her Face

Chapter 311 Ruin Her Face

Natasha’s heart suddenly dropped. Right now, Joan’s expression twisted into something truly frightening, she looked downright menacing.

“What are you trying to do?” Natasha eyed her warily.

Joan suddenly produced a gleaming knife from somewhere. She sneered with malice.

“You think you can seduce Percy with that seductive vixen face of yours? I’ll slash it up right now, so that every time he looks at you, he’ll want to puke. Let’s see if he ever falls for you again!”

With that, she lunged at Natasha, the knife aimed straight fur her face. Natasha screamed and dodged just in time, narrowly avoiding the blade.

But Joan wasn’t about to give up. She quickly lunged at Natasha again, aiming the knife at her face.

Joan slashed at her with a second strike, but Natasha managed to dodge once more.

Joan tried again and again, but every single time, she failed to even touch her. She was clearly getting impatient.

Then, as Natasha tried to run, she tripped and fell to the ground. Joan’s eyes lit up, thinking that this was her chance.

However, she found the knife too awkward to use, then she grabbed an iron hook instead. Then, she started closing in on Natasha, step by step.

“You know what this is? One swipe with this hook and it’ll rip your face right open!” Joan sneered.

Natasha couldn’t believe Joan actually had something this sick. Her eyes went wide in shock and terror.

Natasha scrambled to her feet, panic flooding her as she tried to run. But Joan was already swinging the hook at her. With one vicious swipe, the hook would rip Natasha’s face open in an instant!

Natasha’s face went deathly pale. The pain was so excruciating, she couldn’t help but suck in a sharp breath. She almost wished she could just pass out right then and there.

But Joan refused to let up. She was about to swing that vicious hook at her once more.

Natasha’s heart was in her throat. ‘Get up, now! Run!’ Natasha ordered herself, her mind screaming for her to move. But the pain was so intense, she couldn’t help but frown in agony.

Cold sweat broke out all over her body. Natasha gritted her teeth, pushed through the pain, clutching her wounded face as she scrambled to escape faster.

But before Natasha could get far, Joan came at her again. This time, the hook snagged Natasha’s shoulder, pinning her down, and she was completely stuck.

The more Natasha tried to break free, the deeper the hook tore into her shoulder. Blood started to flow out; she was shaking uncontrollably from the pain.

Drop after drop of blood streamed down. She was consumed by the agony. Natasha crumpled to the ground, completely spent; she was just too weak to even try to get up.

Seeing Natasha nearly pass out from the pain, Joan lunged at her, pressing her down. She pinned Natasha to the ground, climbing right on top of her.

Then, furious, she smacked Natasha hard across the face. “You bitch, just die already!” Joan snarled.

“Why won’t you just die?” she screamed. Joan cursed at Natasha as she slapped her again and again, her rage spilling out with every hit.

Natasha was seeing stars from the blows, her head spinning. Both sides of her face were swollen and red. But Joan still wasn’t done; her rage was far from spent.

Joan grabbed Natasha’s hair with both hands. Then, she viciously smashed Natasha’s head against the floor.

Thud! Thud! Thud! Again and again. Natasha was in so much pain, she honestly wished she could just die right there. But she couldn’t do a thing to stop it.

After being knocked out by the unknown smoke and dragged here, she hadn’t eaten a single bite. By now, her whole body felt limp from hunger; she could barely move.

And with the drug only just wearing off, her body was still suffering the aftereffects. Natasha’s head throbbed with wave after wave of agony. Scenes from her past flas’

out, Natasha grew numb with pain, barely able to feel anything at all.

The last thing she saw was Jared’s face. He was crouched beside her, his large hand firmly holding hers. It was as if he was giving her the strength to hold on.

“Nat, don’t be afraid. I’m here to protect you,” Jared said softly, his voice gentle and reassuring.

Natasha’s lips curved into a faint smile, but all the color drained from her face. But just as Natasha was drowning in despair, the door suddenly burst open, and a guard came rushing in.

“Miss Simonds, something’s wrong! Mr. Grosso is back!” the guard blurted out, rushing in.

Joan furrowed her brows. “What? Wasn’t he supposed to be at the company for a meeting?”

“The meeting got rescheduled at the last minute, so Mr. Grosso turned back halfway and came home…” the guard explained.

A flicker of panic flashed across Joan’s face. ‘Damn, I’m toast,’ she thought.

Joan had only come here to mess with Natasha, thinking Percy was out, but he hadn’t left at all. If he found out about her breaking in and hurting Natasha like this, she would be in deep trouble.

Joan knew perfectly well just how obsessed Percy had become with Natasha lately. Sometimes, he’d mumble Natasha’s name in his sleep without even realizing it.

Joan gritted her teeth, grabbed the same hook she’d attacked Natasha with, and, in a moment of ruthless desperation, jammed it into her own back and tore it out without mercy. Blood poured down her back in an instant.

Natasha was totally shocked. She never realized Joan could be such a savage, Joan actually went that far, hurting herself without a second thought!

When Percy strode in, the first thing he saw was Joan sprawled on the floor, her back soaked in blood. He froze for a moment, then dashed over to her.

“Jo, what happened? Are you okay?” Percy called out, panic clear in his voice. He hurriedly helped her up, his tone urgent.” Why are you here? How did you end up hurt like this?”
