Chapter 312 He Doesn’t Trust Her
Chapter 312 He Doesn’t Trust Her
Percy was sure Natasha dumped him just so she could snag someone way out of his league: Jared.
That thought drove him mad with jealousy. Percy had always felt inferior. Even now, as the heir to the Grosso family, that sense of inadequacy still lingered.
Especially when he looked at true blue bloods like Jared, guys who’d been living the high life since birth. No matter what, he always felt like he never quite measured up.
Now that Percy was certain Natasha left him just to chase after Jared, there was no way he’d ever let her go/He simply couldn’t let her slip away.
Percy strode over to Natasha, who was just starting to get her bearings, still shaky as she tried to get up from the floor
Percy glared at her, his eyes burning with hatred. “You’re more ruthless than I ever imagined. How could you do that to Joan? I was so wrong about you; I thought you were kind, but now I see you’re more vicious than anyone.
“All this just so you could be Mrs. Grosso? The divorce was my decision; it had nothing to do with her. If you have any grudges, bring them to me. Leave her out of this.”
Natasha had never seen Percy with such a sinister, chilling look on his face. His gaze was razor-sharp, like he could slice her to pieces right then and there.
Natasha stared at him in disbelief. She thought Percy was here to save her. But it turned out he was here for Joan, not her
She was the real victim; the one they had kidnapped. Yet he simply believed everything Joan said, taking her for the attacker instead of recognizing that Joan was the one who had hurt her.
A sense of disappointment was inevitable, yet Natasha had grown used to it.
She was used to Percy never seeing things from her point of view, never caring how she felt. The moment something happened, he’d point the finger at her. That was just Percy being Percy.
If this had happened before, she probably would’ve been in tears by now. Now, all she felt was a biting, icy sense of irony. She’d seen it all before; nothing about Percy could shock her anymore.
Natasha could only watch, powerless, as Percy finished yelling at her, then quickly shrugged off his jacket and gently wrapped it around the injured Joan.
The stormy look on his face had already melted away, replaced by a soft gentleness. Percy spoke in a soothing voice, comforting her. “It’s okay now. I’m here; she wouldn’t dare hurt you again. I’ll get you to the hospital right away.”
Natasha lay on the floor, helpless, watching as Percy tended to Joan with gentle care, every gesture full of concern. He picked Joan up in his arms and rushed out without a second glance.
All Natasha was left with was the cold, resolute outline of his back as he disappeared. Her heart was a tangled mess; she couldn’t even put a name to what she was feeling.
“Percy!” Natasha called out suddenly. “You really don’t trust me, do you?”
Percy stopped in his tracks, but didn’t turn around. “After what you did, you really think I’d trust you?” he shot back. With that, he strode off without another word.
Natasha felt utterly ridiculous, unable to understand why she still expected anything different. A bitter wave rose in her chest as her lingering naivety became painfully clear; the thought that Percy might believe her seemed increasingly absurd.
If he truly trusted her, she wouldn’t have been driven to this point by him. Lost in bitter self-reflection, Natasha was startled when the door suddenly swung open again.
For a second, she thought maybe Percy had come back. But when she looked up, it wasn’t him; it was three big, intimidating men looming in the doorway. Judging by their uniforms, they were probably the bodyguards here.
“Damn, she really is a knockout! No wonder Mr. Grosso’s been so obsessed with her. Guess she’s all ours now!” the first guy said, his eyes practically glued to Natasha.
The other two guys’ eyes lit up with excitement. They stared at Natasha, practically drooling over her, then began closing in on her with eager, hungry looks.
Natasha panicked, quickly backing away. “What the hell do you want? Get out!” she shouted furiously.
But the guys just ignored her completely. Instead, they moved in even closer, their intentions obvious.
“Come here, beauty, let me show you a good time,” one of them leered, his tone sleazier than hell. The other two guys were grinning like creeps, their eyes glued to Natasha.

“Don’t come any closer!” Natasha yelled, her voice shaking. She shook her head frantically, unable to stop herself from/ stepping back.
Just as one of the guys was about to grab her, the third man suddenly stepped in to stop him. “Are you sure about this? If Mr. Grosso finds out, we’re screwed…” he said, sounding nervous.
She was Percy’s ex-wife, after all. If they messed with Percy’s woman, they’d never hear the end of it.
“What are you so worried about? Miss Simonds is covering for us. If anything goes south, she’ll take the blame. All we gotta do is take the money and have our fun with her!” one of the guys said, grinning like a creep.
The other two could barely wait, practically itching to get their hands on her. With a beauty right in front of them, nothing else mattered.
“Don’t come any closer!” Natasha shouted, her voice shaking. Fear shot through her, making her whole body tremble. Hey pupils shrank, panic flooding her chest.
‘So these guys are actually following Joan’s orders?’ Natasha thought, her mind spinning with shock. ‘Does Joan really have such a deep grudge against me?’
Not only did Joan frame her right in front of Percy, but now she was actually trying to get these men to do something unspeakable to her.
‘That’s beyond cruel!’ Natasha thought, her heart pounding with fear. ‘This woman is pure evil.’
Within seconds, the three bodyguards had Natasha surrounded. They pounced on her, grabbing at her with rough, greedy
hands.
Natasha’s face went ghostly pale. She screamed in terror, “Don’t touch me! Let me go!”
She cried out, her voice trembling with fear. “Jared, help me!”
She yelled again, “Get away from me! Stay back!”
She blurted out Jared’s name without even thinking. She fought back like a wild animal, desperate and frantic, but it was useless. No matter how hard she struggled, it made no difference.
She was completely outmatched; the men were just too strong, and her resistance was hopelessly weak. Desperate, Natasha bit down hard on one of the guys’ wrists, not holding back for a second.
“Ouch!” the man cried out, pain shooting through his wrist. The sudden pain made him let go of her.
“You bitch!” the guy spat, his eyes blazing with fury. He swung his hand and slapped her viciously across the face.
Blood started to ooze from the corner of her mouth. The other guy got way more aggressive all of a sudden, grabbing at her even harder. He started ripping at her clothes, frantic and impatient, like he was starving for it.
“Let me go! What you’re doing will bring consequences to you!” Natasha shouted, her voice trembling with fury.
