Scarlett's eyes instantly turned red after hearing Violet's words, and when she spoke, her voice came out thick with emotion. "Thank you, Violet."

Violet gently wrapped an arm around her shoulders and said softly, "Nathan loves you more than anyone. He's just never been good at saying it out loud."

Scarlett lowered her head, trying to hold back tears. "I know. All of you have always been there for me."

Violet pulled her into a hug and rubbed her back comfortingly. "Nathan told me before that Damian's someone worth trusting your future with. If you love him, then hold onto that."

Scarlett buried her face against Violet's shoulder, her voice trembling as she nodded. "I will."

Violet continued patting her back soothingly. "Everything with Vincent will pass eventually. You're going to get through this."

Scarlett nodded quietly. "Yeah."

Around lunchtime, Violet was still sitting with Scarlett in the dining room when one of the house staff suddenly hurried inside looking panicked.

"Miss Theron, Mrs. Theron," the woman said breathlessly, "Luke is outside the front gate causing a scene. He's yelling at everyone out there. You should probably come take a look."

The moment Scarlett heard Luke's name, a bad feeling hit her immediately. She pushed back her chair and stood up at once, but Violet calmly reached over and steadied her arm.

"Don't rush," Violet said gently. "Let's just go see what he wants."

Scarlett forced herself to calm down before following Violet outside.

They had barely stepped into the front courtyard when Luke's furious shouting echoed through the estate.

"Scarlett, you evil bitch, how dare you go after Sabrina? Get out here if you've got the guts instead of hiding inside like a coward. If you don't come out right now, I'll tear this place apart."

Then his voice suddenly sharpened even more.

"You can stay hidden in there all you want, but Clara still has to go to school every day. If I decide to pay her a visit someday..."

Before he could finish the threat, Scarlett cut him off loudly.

"Luke, if you touch Clara, I swear to God I'll kill you."

The second Luke saw her appear, he grabbed a frozen bottle of water and threw it directly at her.

Scarlett reacted quickly and tried to dodge, but the bottle still slammed hard against her injured leg.

A sharp burst of pain shot through her instantly.

She lost her balance and fell straight to the ground.

Violet rushed forward immediately and grabbed her arm. "Scarlett, are you okay?"

Scarlett's face had already gone pale from pain, but she still forced herself to shake her head. "I'm fine."

The bottle had landed directly on the same leg she had injured before, and the pain burning through it felt almost unbearable.

Violet could clearly tell how much she was hurting.
