Scarlett frowned the second the heavyset woman yelled for someone with the last name Theron, wondering if the outburst was meant for her.

While she puzzled over the shout, a man seated two spots away abruptly shoved the woman beside him, his voice tight with panic. "Move over to the edge seat fast, don't let her spot you."

The woman scrambled across the row to the outermost chair, yet her quick shift caught the furious knife-wielding woman's eye at the theater entrance.

The bulky woman lifted her blade and stomped up the aisle toward her target, roaring angrily. "Oh, there you are! I finally found you! You goddamn whore, you think you can screw around with my husband and get away with it? You've got a death wish!"

Back in the final row, Vincent and Sabrina both tensed when they heard the last name Theron called out, instantly assuming Scarlett was the one being hunted.

But when they saw her charge toward someone else, they realized it wasn't her.

The woman being targeted scrambled to her feet. She was wearing a tight bodycon dress that showed off her curves, but she didn't care about her image now. Terrified, she ran toward the man Scarlett had seen earlier and begged, "Honey, save me! You have to help me! You're the one who begged me to be with you. You can't just abandon me now!"

Every set of eyes in the auditorium locked onto their argument.

The man instantly tried to wash his hands of the mess, feigning complete unfamiliarity. "Who even are you? I've never met you, quit lying!"

The second the seductress stepped within his reach, he shoved her roughly backward. "Get away from me, you seductress! I'm already committed, you had no right coming onto me!"

Stumbling from the force of his push, she crashed straight into Scarlett, who instinctively reached out to steady her.

Before the woman could fully regain her footing, the enraged attacker charged forward with a raised knife, screaming, "I'll kill you, you bitch!"

She slashed the blade wildly as she closed in.

The cheating husband darted out to block her path and tried to calm her down. "Honey, not here, this is a public space. Let's sort this out at home."

The angry woman ignored his plea and cracked him hard across the cheek. "We'll settle your cheating later. Right now, I'm dealing with her."

She kept advancing toward Scarlett and the other woman, who'd been backed up against a dead-end wall with nowhere left to run.
