Nathan stayed quiet with no response.

Scarlett chimed in softly, "I choose to trust Damian, Nathan."

Another long silence dragged on until Nathan gave a quiet hum of acknowledgement. "Alright."

Relief washed over Scarlett the instant she heard that single word. She instinctively glanced toward Damian, who was already looking back at her; the pair exchanged a quiet, warm smile.
