Awakened Housewife Ignore Betrayer's Begs (Scarlett) novel Chapter 865

Hearing Vincent's words, Scarlett stepped out from behind Damian, looking at Vincent without a trace of pity, "I don't need to tell anyone, but I guess you know the answer deep down."

Vincent's face twisted further, his voice dropping into a growl, "Scarlett, I've got something to ask you."

Scarlett shot back loudly, "Ask what?"

Vincent caught a spark of annoyance in her eyes, wondering if his mind was playing tricks on him.

Yet cold reality told him he saw it right.

Realizing how much Scarlett had changed, he stared at her for a long moment before softening his voice, "I'm tying the knot tomorrow."

Hearing him say it, Scarlett couldn't read his tone, though sensing a faint trace of hesitation in him.

Still, she couldn't care less.

In response to his news, she offered a flat compliment, "Well, congrats then."

Her casual congratulations only fueled Vincent's temper, "Scarlett, you..."

Scarlett raised her chin, meeting his eyes head-on, "Rest assured, I'll show up with Mr. Langley tomorrow to congratulate you in person."

Vincent sneered, dismissive, "No need. I didn't invite you to my wedding."

Scarlett countered, "You didn't invite me, but as Mr. Langley's girlfriend, grabbing a plate at his table isn't crossing the line, is it?"

Vincent froze, staring at Scarlett in total disbelief, "What'd you say?"

Scarlett took a step forward, standing right beside Damian, and reached out to intertwine her fingers with his.

Looking up at Vincent's confused, lost face, she added, "Yeah, you heard right—Damian and I are together."

Holding Damian's hand, Scarlett raised their joined hands into the air.

Having made her point, she met Vincent's eyes with no shame or fear.

Staring at her, Vincent was shaken to the core, "Scarlett, say that again if you dare!"

Refusing to back down, Scarlett took a deep breath and repeated loudly, "Listen up, Vincent—Damian and I are together!"

With that, she lowered their joined hands.

Hearing her unwavering tone, Vincent frowned, "Scarlett, what kind of spell did Damian cast on you?"

Annoyed to her limits, Scarlett barked back, "What about Sabrina then? What kind of spell did she cast on you?"

Vincent choked on his words, "I..."

Scarlett burst into a cold chuckle at his reaction, "What? Nothing to say?"

Vincent stared at her, lost for words.

With his wedding with Sabrina set for tomorrow, what could he possibly say?

Seeing him go silent, Scarlett turned to Damian with a soft smile, "Let me get inside; my brother's waiting."

Hand in hand with Damian, she moved toward the entrance of Theron Manor.

Yet Vincent stood firmly by the gate, making no move to step aside.

Stopping in her tracks, Scarlett raised her face, her voice dropping coolly, "Move aside, please. We're going home."
