Chapter 160 Bitter Truths
(Did you attack Caleb because you listened to Stella?]
George frowned. What did Stella have to do with it?
He had wanted to beat Galeb himself.
But when he turned back, there was Layla, all affectionate with Shane again.
“Exactly!”
[See! I told you George likes Stella.]
What the hell is this? Who do they say I like? Stella?
I’m not blind. How could I possibly like her?
How could I possibly like that pretentious woman who acts all understanding but is actually venomous?
Well, he used to. But that was the past.
I used to be just like Hanna, being deceived and blind to the truth.
Thinking of it that way, his gaze at Hanna had a hint of pity from shared misfortune.
Poor George. Blind Hanna.
Anyway, neither was in a good place.
Now that he’d seen Stella’s true colors, there was no way he could still like her.
Speaking of whom he might like, Layla would be a better match.
Layla was genuine, open, generous, sharp-tongued, and her punches really hurt.
Anyway, she was way cuter than Stella.
The live chat had already erupted into celebration over his previous answer.
The more George watched, the angrier he got.
Just then, a scream came from across the table.
“Blaze, maybe stop. Caleb has suffered enough.” Stella’s voice rang out.
George looked up at her like she was an idiot.
Is she out of her mind? With everything Caleb’s done, doesn’t he deserve it? A few slaps and some boiling water are “miserable enough?
Who’s going to pity Hanna for her fourteen years of misery?

Chapter 160 Bitter Truths
[Stella is so kind.]
(George must think so too. He’s completely mesmerized by her.]
[George and Stella are the best couple. Hope they stop fighting and make up soon.]
[Yeah, apologize to Stella, George. She has a good temper. She won’t blame you for anything.]
George stared at the live chat scrolling by. For the first time, he felt the helplessness of not being able to slap someone through a screen.
Damn it! What’s wrong with these people? Are these really my fans?
“Are you all my fans?” he asked.
[Of course! I’ve been a fan for three years.]
[Four years for me!]
[Three years, two months, and three days!]
[I’ve been a fan the longest, five years, since you debuted!]
Darkness fell over George’s vision.
They were indeed his longtime fans.
“Why do you…” George wanted to ask why they shipped him with Stella so hard, but with so many people here, family matters should be discussed behind closed doors.
There was no need to share that his fans weren’t the sharpest. It was too embarrassing.
Stella had already walked over to Blaze. “Blaze, let it go.”
Blaze didn’t even look up. He just kept pouring.
Half the basin of boiling water was already gone.
Not all of it went into Caleb’s mouth. Most ran down his face.
His face and neck were already bright red and blistered.
That was pretty scary.
But Blaze pretended not to see. He poured the rest down, then lifted his head with a blank look at Stella. “What did you say earlier? Caleb was making too much noise while drinking. I didn’t hear.”
He was obviously lying through his teeth, but everyone else sided with him.
“Right. How can someone be so loud just drinking water?”
Layla looked at the Vanguard in front of her. The live chat on her Vanguard was completely different from George’s. On hers, all Layla’s fans hated Stella, every line cursing her out.

[Stella is such a phony. I can’t even stand it through the screen.]
