Chapter 163 Get Out of My Tent
Hanna nodded firmly. “Okay.”
She walked toward Caleb, one step at a time.
Blaze held Caleb pinned in place. He couldn’t move.
But Caleb had spent years dominating Hanna with fists and insults. He’d always occupied a position of absolute power over her.
The man who was trembling in fear before Blaze suddenly stiffened the moment he saw Hanna approaching.
He straightened his spine. His face was a mess of bruises, burns, and blisters across his neck. He looked utterly pathetic. Yet in front of Hanna, he still saw himself as superior. He glared at her, his fury rising.
“You want to turn the tables on me? Think hard. Who would want you if you left me? You’ve long since been used up by me!”
Hanna’s eyes flickered. The words she’d meant to say caught in her throat. But she quickly straightened her spine again. “So what?
“Caleb, I don’t need a male to survive!
“I’ve been able to support myself for a long time. All this time, the one who couldn’t support himself was
you.
“You didn’t support me. I supported you! You have no right to speak to me like this.”
She jabbed a thumb over her shoulder at the tent. “Now, go pack your things and get out. You’ve lost the right to stay in my tent.”
Caleb stiffened. “What did you say?”
“I said get out.”
Hanna’s voice was quiet. The entire walk back, she had imagined countless times how she would face Caleb, how she would end this absurd, painful chapter of her past.
She thought she’d scream herself hoarse, break down hysterically.
She’d never imagined she could be this calm. Calm, as if kicking Caleb out of her tent and her life was nothing at all, as natural as him saying he was going out drinking with friends while she stayed home doing laundry, waiting for him.
It dawned on her that she had probably been tired of this life for a long time. She’d probably dreamed of kicking Caleb aside and flying free on her own for ages.
The scene had played out so many times in her dreams that when it finally happened in reality, she was calm, as if it were just another ordinary day.
Caleb, on the other hand, had never considered that Hanna would actually dare to leave him.

Chapter 163 Get Out of My Tent
He could only keep muttering, “You’ve been used up by me! Who would want you! No male could possibly look at you!”
“Since you don’t feel like packing, I’ll help you one last time.” Hanna turned and walked into the tent. As she passed Layla, the corner of her mouth curved upward.
Layla felt a swell of something like pride, the kind a parent feels watching their child finally grow up.
While Hanna was inside gathering Caleb’s belongings, Layla stepped up to Caleb and slapped him across
the face.
Caleb hadn’t expected Layla to hit him.
Blaze hadn’t either.
When it registered, and Caleb lunged at Layla to retaliate, Blaze had already snapped back to his senses. He yanked Caleb back and smacked him on the back of the head. “Settle down!”
Caleb was dazed by the blow, momentarily subdued, but the look he shot Layla was still seething with venom. “You dare hit me?”
Layla had meant to stop at one slap. Hearing him still defiant, she delivered another. “I hit you. So what?”
Blaze glanced at Layla and seemed about to speak, then stopped himself.
Layla’s public reputation was already shaky. Slapping a man openly on a live broadcast would only make her image worse.
But having known Layla for a while now, Blaze suspected she wasn’t the sort to care about reputation.
Not that she didn’t care, exactly, she just didn’t care what outsiders thought of her.
“You steal from me, and I can’t even hit you twice?
“You’re speaking shit. You were asking for a beating.
“What gives you the right to judge females? Hanna is a thousand times, ten thousand times better than you. You can’t compete among males, so all you can do is fix your eyes under a female’s skirt and think that if you spread rumors, if you smear her as a slut, you can ruin her for life, and she’ll have no choice but to stay with you, right?”
Caleb’s mouth opened. He didn’t want to admit he had no standing among males.
But what Layla said was the truth. Nobody respected him anywhere.
