“Ectothermic,” Shane corrected. “But when I like Layla, I get warm.”

“So, about building that processing plant, I don’t seem to have the money.”

“I do.”

“And the people?”

“I have them.”

“And the technology?”

“I have it.”

“And the…”

“I have it all.” Shane brushed a kiss to the corner of her mouth. “Everything you need, I have. And what I don’t have, the Slater family does.”
