George looked so crestfallen that Layla was torn between laughter and tears.

Cupping his face in her hands, she placed a gentle kiss right on the spot she’d flicked earlier.

She wrapped her arms around his neck, leaning in to whisper, “Then what about Oliver?”

“No way!” Two voices rang out in unison.

Shock etched itself across Liam and George’s faces, as if the ground had suddenly crumbled beneath their feet.

The last thing either of them wanted was for that arrogant Oliver to join their little circle.

Amused by their over-the-top reaction, Layla let out a light laugh.

“Relax, I was only teasing you two.”
