Beast Love Show: All For Her (by Sylvester Raven) novel Chapter 295

Chapter 295 Morning

“I think he’d rather…”

Liam’s eyes widened, and he reached out to twist George’s ear. “Looks like someone’s asking for a spanking’ Come on, let’s settle this outside.”

George wailed as Liam hauled him away, his voice fading down the hall. “Don’t pull my ear! What if it damages my flawless face?”

Even facing a beating, he couldn’t resist being vain.

Shaking her head with a helpless smile, Layla watched them go.

Now only three remained in the room.

Shane, ever the quiet one, rose to his feet and blinked at Layla. “Guess I’ll head to my room and turn in for the night.”

That left Layla, Carson, and Oliver.

Oliver made a bold-or perhaps foolish-attempt to stay.

He knew full well that among everyone, Layla held the least affection for him.

Even if chances were handed out, he’d likely be last in line to share her space tonight.

But he figured he might as well try his luck.

Layla arched a brow, pointing wordlessly toward the door.

Oliver pouted, putting on his best pitiful look. “Really? You’re going to be that cruel, Layla?”

Her expression didn’t waver. “Would you prefer I give you the room instead?”

His face paled, and he hurried toward the exit, though not without a lingering, wistful glance back.

Layla’s stern facade finally cracked, and she let out a soft laugh, waving him off with a smile. “Alright, get some sleep.”

Only then did Oliver leave, practically skipping with glee.

Now it was just Carson.

Before Layla could speak, he offered, “I can sleep in the living room.”

With only five bedrooms available, he was the odd one out.

Watching him actually prepare to leave, Layla stopped him. “Wait. Stay here. It’s cold outside.”

Carson’s eyes widened slightly.

Though he didn’t immediately turn back, his steps halted.

Chapter 295 Morning

Moving cautiously, he settled onto the bed.

The frame let out a faint creak, freezing him in place once more.

Seeing how tense he was, Layla sighed and turned to face him.

Moonlight spilled across her features, giving her skin a smooth, pearlescent glow.

Her bright eyes studied him. “Nervous?”

After a moment’s hesitation. Carson nodded.

At least he was honest.

Layla smiled. nestling her head against his solid chest.

“Much better, she thought, enjoying the firm comfort of his muscles.

With her face hidden against him, she didn’t see his reaction, only felt his arms wrap stiffly around her.

Soon, the rhythmic thud of his heartbeat filled her ears, growing louder and faster, like a drum against a wall.

A mischievous impulse took hold. Layla’s hand, previously tucked at her side, drifted up to rest on his toned abdomen.

She hadn’t expected Carson to be quite this impressive.

Even through his shirt, the defined lines of his muscles were unmistakable-firm even at rest.

A sudden, vivid image flashed in Layla’s mind, and she coughed lightly, her cheeks warming as she buried her face deeper into his chest.

Gradually, Carson seemed to relax into their closeness.

He held her a little tighter, his hand beginning to gently pat her back as if soothing a child to sleep.

Layla’s earlier excitement ebbed away under that steady rhythm, and her eyelids grew heavy.

In her dreams, she was back in the post-apocalyptic world from before her journey here

Cornered by a horde of zombies, she closed her eyes in despair, certain her end had come

Then a fierce howl pierced the air. Carson, who had shifted into his beast form, stood protectively before her.

With a single swipe of his paw, he reduced the advancing undead to pulp

Dream-Layla leaned against him, surrounded by stockpiled supplies in the ruins of the zombie world, and let out a contented chuckle.

The sound stirred Carson, who had already been awake.
