Beast Love Show: All For Her (by Sylvester Raven) novel Chapter 325

Chapter 325 Play Dirty

31

At the critical moment, the hyenas finally caught up, surging forward in a snarling pack toward the python’s head.

His scales were impossibly tough; the only vulnerable target was that massive skull.

The lead hyena clamped its jaws hard around the snake’s eye socket.

Canine teeth sank deep into the orb.

A wave of violent pain made the serpent convulse, his constricting grip on Layla loosening just enough

Seizing the chance, she shifted back to human form and slipped free from the coils.

Enraged, the python thrashed wildly, hurling the hyenas aside.

He fixed a furious glare on them and roared, “Damn you!”

His heavy tail rose, ready to smash the pack into pulp.

Layla clenched her fists, bracing herself for a final stand-when the python suddenly froze mid-strike, as if someone had pressed pause.

A ripple of power brushed against Layla’s senses. She spun around.

Shane stood there, hand raised, pale blue waves of energy pulsing from his palm and washing over the python’s mind.

“Shane!” Layla breathed out.

He managed a faint smile, though his face had gone alarmingly pale.

Channeling the power of the Starcore Essence was effective, but it always came at a cost.

He hadn’t fully recovered from the last time-who knew what damage this would do now?

The python’s vicious, glaring eyes began to glaze over, turning dull and vacant.

Then, his body went limp as he slumped to the ground in a deep, forced slumber.

Shane finally let his hand drop, cutting off the energy flow.

His legs buckled, and he swayed sideways.

Layla rushed forward, catching him just as he collapsed into her arms.

“Glad you’re okay,” he murmured, voice barely audible.

The viewers erupted in sympathetic distress.

[Prof. Slater loves her too much.]

Chapter 325 Play Dirty

[He’s just a scholar, but for Layla, he’d go this far… I’m actually crying.]

[Wait, isn’t anyone wondering why that python showed up? I got a look at its face-it looked just like that interstellar fugitive who resembles Leonard! And Leonard’s here, too… That can’t be a coincidence, right?]

[If the production team doesn’t handle this properly now, we’re writing a joint letter to sue the show!]

[Seriously! It’s been Layla getting the short end of the stick this whole time. She’s had it rough

Seeing Leonard’s name float across the chat, Layla narrowed her eyes menacingly.

She wouldn’t let this slide.

Evidence or not, there was no way she was letting Leonard and Stella off the hook.

Scooping Shane up in a bridal carry, Layla moved quickly to where the unconscious silver wolf lay. /

Her hand gently stroked the thick fur, her gaze soft with concern.

“You’ve been through hell,” she whispered to Carson.

His eyelashes fluttered, and he shifted back to human form.

Without hesitation, Layla hoisted both men over her shoulders, with Shane on one side and Carson on the other. She carried them with steady, powerful strides back toward camp.

The viewers cheered her on.

[Now that’s a true mate! I’d be over the moon to have someone like that.]

[Oh my god, I’m seriously falling for Layla right now. Carrying Prof. Slater is one thing, but Mr. Fields, too? And she’s walking like it’s nothing!]

[If Layla allowed it, I’d volunteer to be her twenty-sixth conquest!]

[Dream on, get in line. At this rate, you’d be number sixty-thousand-and-six.]

Back at their campsite, Liam and George rushed over as Layla arrived with unconscious Carson and Shane.

George’s eyes widened in alarm.

Liam darted forward, pressing fingers to Shane’s and Carson’s necks to check for pulses.

Letting out a long, relieved breath once he confirmed they were alive, he turned to Layla, worry etched on his face. “What happened?”

Layla filled them in.

Liam’s hands balled into fists, his jaw tightening until his molars ground together. “That bitch Stella. What the hell is she playing at?”
