Beast Love Show: All For Her (by Sylvester Raven) novel Chapter 361

Chapter 361 An Act of Fake Penitence

Stella put on a perfect show of obedience and sincere repentance. Beneath the facade, however, her watchful eyes never left Layla as she secretly noted every move and gathered every scrap of information

Whenever their gazes accidentally met, Stella would flinch and hurriedly look away.

Layla simply smiled to herself.

Looks like I need to create an opening for her.

Every one of Stella’s attempts to ingratiate herself was captured by Vanguard.

Viewers in the live chat watched her performative display with scorn. They were nearly unanimous in believing her intentions were far from pure.

[Seriously, what’s Stella doing? Sucking up to Layla? Did she finally have a revelation about her own awful behavior?

[Come on, it’s obvious she’s up to no good! Probably trying to lull Layla into a false sense of security before striking back or digging for info!]

[Layla better not fall for it. Someone like Stella doesn’t change. Leopards don’t change their spots.]

[Exactly! After all the venom and cruelty she dished out, this sudden “good girl” act reeks of a scheme.]

[Yeah! Her acting is terrible. That pitiful, wounded look makes me sick. Can she stop pretending?]

[Didn’t she learn anything about performance from her time with George?]

The chat flooded with mockery and doubt. No one believed her remorse was genuine.

Reading the comments, Stella seethed inwardly, her jaw clenched tight.

Yet she had no choice but to keep up the charade, following Ciara’s orders to keep Layla under surveillance.

Meanwhile, Leonard had been in low spirits for days.

After Roger ran away, he had promised a swift return.

Now, with no word after nearly a week, worry gnawed at Leonard.

Has Roger been captured?

“Hey, snap out of it. You’ve lost weight moping around. Don’t forget your scheduled injection.” Julian’s voice broke his thoughts.

Leonard looked up to see him approaching, a syringe in hand.

Frowning, Leonard wished he could refuse.

But skipping the dose meant risking his semi-beast form emerging.

And if that happened, the secret of the injections would be out

Neither Leonard nor Julian noticed anything amiss-at first.

By that afternoon, however, a strange, restless agitation began to simmer in both of them.

An almost primal urge to shift form tugged at the edges of their control.

Julian, inherently more level-headed and with fewer injections in his system, managed to wrestle down the rising frenzy.

Leonard, whose temper ran hotter and whose mind was less stable, found the fake serum’s effects harder to contain.

The agitation swelled, a storm barely held in check.

As Leonard fought to keep himself together, Stella returned from Layla’s cabin, her mood already sour from the hateful live chat comments.

Stepping inside, she found Leonard and Julian huddled in a corner.

Their faces were gloomy, their auras icy and dangerous, eyes glinting with a volatile hostility, as if they might erupt at any moment.

Stella’s pent-up fury instantly found a target.

She snapped, hands on her hips, her voice shrill with impatience, “Leonard! Julian! What are you two doing? Playing dead in here? I told you to find a chance to search Layla’s place for evidence, not laze around!”

Her sharp tone pierced Leonard’s fraying control. The dam broke.

“Shut

your mouth!” he roared, surging to his feet.

His eyes burned bloodshot, bestial energy erupting around him.
