Beast Love Show: All For Her (by Sylvester Raven) novel Chapter 424

Chapter 424 Thinking of Taking Him In

Su, Stella burned with bitter resentment.

Layla is supposed to live in my shadow, crushed forever beneath my feet. How dare she thrive so well?

The more Stella dwelled on it, the deeper her malice grew.

This time, she intended to take action.

Her breathing grew heavy, and she lifted her eyes.

Cold, vicious hatred glinted in her gaze.

Julian saw that menacing look, and panic shot through him. He tried to slip away.

“Wait,” Stella called out.

Julian froze in place. He turned back reluctantly, forcing a hollow fake smile onto his face. “What is it?”

Stella said, “Go get me something. It has to be deadly poison, colorless and odorless.”

Julian instantly understood what Stella planned to do.

His voice trembled. “What are you going to do to Layla?”

Stella stared at him with a sinister glint. “That is none of your concern.”

Julian groaned inwardly.

Of course it concerns me.

If this plot blew up, Stella would throw him under the bus to take all the blame.

His head throbbed with stress.

Stella shoved him roughly. “What are you thinking?”

Julian let out a long weary sigh. “Fine. I get it. I’ll take care of it.”

He backed out of the mud hut. Instead of hunting for the poison Stella demanded, he headed toward Layla’s wooden cabin.

Julian paused, watching the group inside laughing and enjoying one another’s company, and hesitated.

He paced back and forth by the entrance for a long while, until a sharp, wary voice cut through the quiet. “What are you doing here?”

Yates stood guard, holding a farming rake in front of his body, his eyes locked firmly on Julian.

Julian scratched the back of his neck. “I need to speak with Layla.”

Yates remembered all the rotten things Julian had done working alongside Stella.

He sized Julian up and down, then questioned, “What do you want with her? Are you plotting something

sty again?”

Julian knew his reputation with this group was terrible.

He held both hands up, his expression earnest. “I swear, this time, I really have important news/ I need Layla’s help.”

Inside the house, Layla caught sight of Julian and Yates through the corner of her eye. She stood and hurried outside.

Yates was good-natured, and she feared Julian might trick him.

Layla stepped in front of Yates and fixed Julian with a cold stare. “Let me guess-Stella sent you for something?”

Julian glanced side-to-side, eyeing the Vanguard recording device, and lowered his voice as much as he could. “I have to tell you something. It can’t get out.”

Layla raised an eyebrow at his obvious nervousness and huffed softly.

Yates tugged at the hem of Layla’s sleeve. “Don’t trust him. He helped Stella pull off so many bad deeds.”

Layla reached back and patted his head to calm him. “If he’s dumb enough to walk right onto our territory just to lie, then he’s beyond foolish. He must have something real to say,”

Julian breathed a huge sigh of relief.

His biggest fear had been that Layla would refuse to listen.

That worry was now gone.

Layla unlatched the cabin’s wooden fence and motioned Julian inside.

The five males inside shot to their feet the second they saw Layla bring Julian in.

Oliver’s eyes went wide with disbelief, and his voice shook. “Layla, why would you let him in? You aren’t thinking of taking him in, too, are you?”

Layla rolled her eyes hard. “Don’t talk nonsense. He came to see me and said he had something to tell me.”

Liam stepped between Layla and their guest, his tone laced with sarcasm. “So now you finally realize who the true Lady Lord worth siding with is?”

That thought had never crossed Julian’s mind.

He knew full well how much damage he had done against Layla’s circle.

George and the others had never committed real harm against her, which was why Layla accepted them.
