He reached out and seized her wrist.

"Let me see where he touched you."

His voice was laced with anger, his sharp eyes locked onto the side of her face.

Sienna wanted nothing to do with him. She raised her free hand to pry his fingers off.

Jarred tilted his head, assessing her resistance. "Are you overestimating yourself, or underestimating me?"

Sienna struggled twice but couldn't break free. She glared back at him in frustration. "Even if he did touch me, what does it matter to you? We're divorced!"

Instead of loosening, Jarred's grip on her arm tightened.

He let out a dark chuckle. "Sweetheart, I'm extremely pissed right now. You'd better not add fuel to the fire."

Before she could react, he yanked her into his chest.

He gripped her chin between his thumb and forefinger, his dark eyes scanning her face, searching for any marks that didn't belong to her.

Sienna detested his behavior.

She smacked his hand away. "What if I do add fuel to the fire? The fact that I didn't sleep with him means I exercised extreme restraint."

"Is that so? You actually wanted to sleep with him?"

Jarred let out a low laugh, his eyes brimming with frost.

His grip on her wrist unconsciously tightened, and the curve of his lips couldn't hide the dark gloom gathering between his brows.

"Then it's a good thing you restrained yourself. Otherwise, not even God could have saved him."

Staring at the handsome, flawless face in front of her, Sienna genuinely wanted to slap him.

She really didn't get it.

How did this man possess such a talent for driving her up the wall?

She hadn't lost her temper this much in her entire twenty-something years of life as she did whenever she was alone with him.

Jarred's expression darkened, and he lowered his head, crushing his lips against hers.
