Blizzard First Love and a Wife Who Finally Snaps novel Chapter 332

She paused when she saw Isabel. “What are you doing here?”

Isabel let out a cold laugh. “That’s an excellent question, Mrs. Blackwell. Why don’t you ask your precious youngest son?”

Mrs. Blackwell probably knew what was going on. She didn’t respond to Isabel but walked closer, trying to take Oliver.

But the moment she touched him, he clung even tighter to Isabel.

“Didn’t you say you didn’t want the child? What is this now?” Mrs. Blackwell snapped when she couldn’t take the boy.

Isabel raised her hands. “I see your eyesight is finally going in your old age.”

Mrs. Blackwell was rendered speechless.

She could now see Oliver’s hands gripping Isabel’s clothes so tightly they were distorted. His body was curled into her, his small face scrunched up in displeasure, clearly terrified of leaving Isabel’s side.

He was curled up like a fetus in the womb.

It was the only way he felt safe.

“What did you do to him?”

Ever since Oliver learned of Isabel's “death,” he had been looking for her. Even when she changed her identity, he insisted that she was his real mother. Because Isabel ignored him and treated him coldly, he lost his appetite, lost a tremendous amount of weight, and developed psychological problems.

That was all manageable. The Blackwell family had the money and power to find a cure.

But now, Catherine had returned from the hospital with the test results and informed the family.

She said it was a terminal illness.

When Mrs. Blackwell heard those words, she rushed over immediately, not yet knowing that only Isabel could save him.

She rarely even went back to the main house because of her.

“That’s not what I…” She quickly hid behind her father Alexander.

Alexander shielded her and looked at Adrian. “Sophie was just worried. She’s very close with her cousin.”

But Adrian’s voice was cold. “Apologize.”

Isabel glanced at him but wasn’t about to change her mind over such a small gesture.

Sophie was unhappy. “Dad…”

Alexander was about to speak, but Adrian cut him off. “Apologize or get out. And don’t ever appear in front of me again.”

Alexander stepped aside. “Sophie, apologize to her.”
