I tapped the table. “So here’s what I’m thinking. On your end, we establish controlled surveillance and secure the borders. No reactionary attacks. Just observation and intervention if they step over the line.”

Daniel leaned forward, resting his hands on the table. “Balanced. Not emotional retaliation, just strategic containment. That’s smart. It also gives us the ability to move in if they make a wrong step without overextending ourselves.”
