“The old monkey king wouldn’t trade any more, unfortunately,” Riley said, leaning back.

“Makes sense. The system’s task for that tribe is to brew–and protect it. Usually, the only way to get it is to raid the grove with a party and steal it while they’re distracted,” PineappleBeer explained.
“Steal it?” Tartking looked at the surrounding apes and felt a pang of guilt. “I think they’d notice.”
“Whatever. We’ve all had a dose. If we can smuggle more out, great. These dungeons are randomized anyway. The plot of this run is diverging more and more from the last one. Who knows when we’ll see this forest again,” PineappleBeer remarked.
Tartking grinned and stood up. “By the way, PineappleBeer! Check this out!”
She took a deep breath, her palm glowing with a brilliant light. She gave a quick wave.
“Blessing of Light!”
A warm, golden ring of light instantly surrounded PineappleBeer.

“System: Under the effect of ‘Blessing of Light‘. All attributes +6%.”
PineappleBeer’s eyes widened as she felt the surge of power.
“Not bad!”
TartKing tilted her chin up proudly, conjuring a milky–white Lesser Heal orb in her palm.
“I’m a Level 12 Priest now! Pretty impressive, right?”
“Impressive indeed.”
PineappleBeer took another bite of her biscuit, smiling.
“However…”
PineappleBeer’s tone shifted as she pulled up her own status panel, displaying it with a bit of “flexing.”
ID: PineappleBeer
Class: Assassin (Shadow Dancer)
Level: Lv. 19
“Level 19?!”
Tartking’s jaw practically hit the floor. “Did you go out and solo a dragon or something? How are you so high? Even Riley is only
15!”
Riley was equally surprised.
She’d been grinding elite mobs and even took down a Great Earth Bear, yet she was still only Level 15. PineappleBeer was three
whole levels ahead.

That’s the perk of being a solo player,” PineappleBeer said with a shrug, tossing a black crystal in her hand. “My spawn point was crawling with high–level gargoyles and wraiths. Hard as hell to kill, but the XP was massive.”
She narrowed her eyes slightly. Plus, I hit plenty of mobs on the road here. If you keep killing, you keep leveling.”
“Impressive,” Riley said, nodding.
As expected of the legendary top–tier assassin. That grinding efficiency was terrifying
“Alright, enough catch–up. Let’s get to business.”
PineappleBeer’s expression turned serious. She pulled a large parchment scroll from her bag and spread it across the stone table. A few curious apes crowded around to peek.
“What’s this?” Riley asked, leaning in.
“A Boss World Map.”
PineappleBeer pointed to the cluster of red dots on the map. “I found this in some ruins. It shows the nearby bosses. It won’t show hidden ones or Easter eggs, but the standard area bosses are all there.”
She traced her finger across the parchment.
“I remember this dungeon has three hidden Leaderboards that get announced at the end.
“First, the Kill Count. Points based on the number and quality of monsters slain.
“Second, the Loot Value. Points based on the total gold–value of the items in your inventory.
“Third, the Exploration Rank. Points based on the percentage of the map fog cleared.”
PineappleBeer tapped her own chest. “I’ve crossed over a dozen different biomes, so I’m definitely taking a spot on the Exploration board. How about you girls?”
