Chapter 175 The Kill
Chapter 175 The Kill
Riley didn’t back down. Drawing on her Warrior class strength, she crossed her axes and tanked the hit head–on.
“Boom!”
Riley’s feet carved two deep ruts into the ground. Her health bar dropped by a tenth, but she didn’t budge!
“Blessing of Light! Lesser Heal!”
From the rear, a golden and a white light fell simultaneously.
Riley’s health began to refill as her strength and Agility received a slight boost.

The Scorpion King didn’t hesitate, lunging at Riley again. She pivoted to the side, swapping to her arbalest mid–motion and firing several bolts into its eyes.
The beast raised its massive pincer to block, which also cut off Riley’s line of sight.
But Riley didn’t panic. Following PineappleBeer’s warning, she focused entirely on her defense.
Sure enough, a split–second later, a dark blur whipped toward her. It was the stinger, hidden behind the pincers for a surprise
thrust.
Thanks to her high Agility and constant vigilance, she managed to twist her body away. She caught the strike on her crossed axes, losing only about 50 HP–well within her limits.
The moment the stinger missed, a dark phantom appeared behind the beast.
It was PineappleBeer.
She was impossibly fast.
She’d closed the gap silently, reaching the base of the stinger. There, the soft armor had buckled slightly from the thrust, revealing the weak spot.
Shadow Strike!
Backstab!
PineappleBeer’s daggers flared with toxic green light. Within a single second, she unleashed seven rapid strikes directly into the weak point!
Massive damage numbers cascaded down like a waterfall.
This was the explosive power of a top–tier assassin! Every hit a crit, every hit drawing blood!
“Screech-ow!”
The Scorpion King shrieked in pain, trying to turn around and crush PineappleBeer.
But PineappleBeer wasn’t greedy. She retreated immediately and vanished into Stealth.

Chapter 175 The Kill
Riley, on the front line, wasn’t about to give it a chance to chase her friend.
“Where do you think you’re going? I’m your opponent!”
Riley let out a roar, triggering Power Strike and slamming her axe into the outer shell to force the aggro back.
Dragged back and forth, the Scorpion King hissed in fury. It decided to focus on the human in front of it.

But with TartKing healing and buffing from the shadows, Riley’s health stayed in the green. And every time a window opened, PineappleBeer would strike the weak point again.
Under their relentless coordination, the Scorpion King’s HP soon hit 40%.
“Heads up! Phase 2!”
PineappleBeer shouted, blurring backward instantly.
Zzzzt–!!!
Bright bolts of electricity erupted from the beast’s body, its purple shell turning a brilliant electric blue.
Skill: Thunderstorm Poison Cloud
A massive plume of foul–smelling green gas, mixed with crackling bolts of lightning, surged outward from the boss.
Riley retreated quickly, and the three of them swapped to their arbalests for ranged damage.
It was a good thing they’d reacted so fast. If they’d been caught in that cloud, the lightning would have paralyzed them, and the gas would have drained their stamina in seconds.
Once the three had opened the distance, they unleashed a barrage of bolts. Riley then led the charge, using “Charge” to slam back into the fight.
Seeing an target within reach, the Scorpion King lashed out with both pincers and its stinger.
“Now, PineappleBeer!”
PineappleBeer, who had been circling the edge, made her move. She leaped into the air, performing a “Double Jump” that defied all physics, landing right on the scorpion’s back.
With the stinger busy, there was nothing to stop her.
PineappleBeer held her daggers in a reverse grip, focusing all her power into a single point, and slammed them into the weak spot at the base of the tail.
“Screech–!!!”
The Scorpion King let out one final, desperate wail.
Its health bar bottomed out.
Riley took the opening, landing a massive dual–axe Cleave that wiped out its last sliver of life.
The massive body crashed to the ground.
