Chapter 191 The Spoils Of War
“Step aside, let me handle this!”
In front of the hollow, a carnival of carnage officially began.

Time ticked away second by second.
From ten in the morning until four in the afternoon.
For six long hours, the group was entirely immersed in this repetitive yet incredibly satisfying looting
process.
“Break time! Everyone rest! Let’s catalog the haul!”
Riley barked the order, her chest heaving as she yanked her axe from the skull of a final Night–corrupted
Rat.
The group collapsed onto the dirt; their fingers were trembling from exhaustion, but smiles were plastered on every face as they stared at the pile of glowing loot.
“This is… this is insane.”
ToxicReaper’s hand shook as he picked up a chunk of metal radiating a deep purple light. “Is this Abyssal Iron? An Epic–tier material! I heard you could only find this in Gold Chests!”
“Look at this!”
Nobody held up several scrolls, her voice pitching up with excitement. “A Superior Machine Arbalest Blueprint! And an Intermediate Trap Fortification Scroll!”
Riley was busy sifting through the other utility items.
“Purified Energy Core x 30”
“Description: High–density power source. Can be used for shelter upgrades.”
“Portal Mana Core x 5”
“Description: Core energy material for constructing Teleportation Gates.”
“Special Blueprint: Gothic Magic Chandelier”
“Special Blueprint: Enchanted Hearth (Self–heating)”
“Deluxe Building Material Bundle x 10”
Aside from those, there was a mountain of Weapon Upgrade Cards, Skill Book Fragments, and Rare/Epic crafting materials for various classes.

Then came the difficult part–distribution.
Riley didn’t waste time, quickly dividing the loot into several piles.
“First principle: distribution based on need.”

She handed the trap blueprints to Nobody. “These are yours; your Trap Mastery will make much better use of them than I could.”
“I’ll hold onto the Arbalest production book for now–I’ll craft them for everyone later without any labor fees.”
Nobody clutched the scrolls to her chest. “Thank… thank you, Riley!”
“Don’t mention it. Everyone worked hard for this.”
“Reaper, the venom sacs, monster blood, and those stalks of Nethergrass go to you.”
ToxicReaper pushed up his glasses and gave a sly grin. “Perfect! Thanks, Riley.”
“BigMountain, this Savage Bash skill book and the Heavy Plate Tortoise Shell are for you. You can make a hell of a shield with that when we get back.”
BigMountain stared at the items handed to him, momentarily stunned.
He was greedy for them, sure, but he had a conscience.
In this fight, while he’d contributed, the actual leadership came from Riley and PineappleBeer. Nobody designed the traps, PineappleBeer baited the mobs, and Riley provided the initial suppression.
At best, he was just high–tier muscle support.
“Boss, I don’t know about this.”
BigMountain waved his hand, trying to push the items back. “I’m content just leaching some XP and basic materials. You guys should keep the rare stuff; I’m already grateful enough that you saved my life.”
ToxicReaper and Nobody nodded in agreement beside him.
They were the rescued party; being alive was already a massive wm.
“Just take them.”
Riley’s brow furrowed slightly. “Business is business. You put in the work, you get the reward. Besides, these items match your current builds.”
She pointed to the two purple Portal Mana Cores, the pile of Energy Cores, and the bulk of the high–end materials.
“I’m taking the lion’s share since these are more useful for my base development. I won’t be humble about that. As for the Rare and Epic materials, PineappleBeer and I will take sixty percent, and you three can

split the rest. Any objections?”
“None! Absolutely none!”
BigMountain shook his head like a bobblehead.
This wasn’t just fair; it was incredibly generous.
