Chapter 255 The Private Beach Subspace

Chapter 255 The Private Beach Subspace

Two seconds passed.

PineappleBeer’s muscles tensed up, ready to rush in and pull Riley out at any moment.

Ripples suddenly spread across the mirror’s surface.

Riley stumbled backward out of the vortex. She moved so fast that she nearly lost her balance.

“Riley! Are you okay?!” PineappleBeer stepped forward in one quick stride and steadied her. “Burger! Was there a monster in there?” Tartking asked with clear concern.

A look of pure excitement was plastered all over Riley’s face.

More importantly, PineappleBeer noticed one tiny detail-Riley’s hair was messy and disheveled.

“Hurry.”

Riley’s voice trembled, not from fear, but from overwhelming excitement.

“Come inside.

“This place… it’s literal paradise.”

PineappleBeer and Tartking exchanged a confused glance.

Paradise?

How could paradise exist in this apocalyptic world?

Burning with curiosity, the two girls followed Riley toward the mirror.

Riley grabbed one girl in each hand and stepped into the swirling vortex once again.

Their vision twisted and went dark for a split second.

Then-whoosh.

A loud, rhythmic crashing sound flooded their ears.

Blinding sunlight stung their eyes, and a thick wave of warm air washed over their bodies.

Even the always-calm PineappleBeer froze in pure shock the second she opened her eyes.

They were not standing in some damp basement or cramped plantation.

Instead, they stood on soft, fine golden sand.

A bright sun hung high above their heads.

Warm grit pressed gently against the soles of their feet.

At the far edge of this soccer field sized subspace stretched a vast, bright blue ocean that seemed endless.

The rolling waves looked vividly real.

Large weathered boulders dotted the shore, casting cool shade over parts of the beach.

White foam splashed against the rough stone surfaces.

Tufts of green seaweed stubbornly grew in the rock cracks, alongside two lopsided coconut trees.

“The sea… an actual beach?”

TartKing scooped up a handful of sand with shaking fingers, feeling the warm grains slip through her palms. “This is real sand! It’s warm! It’s actually warm!”

“The temperature here has to be at least 86 degrees Fahrenheit.”

Riley spread her arms wide and let the ocean breeze brush across her cheeks.

She stared at the stunning private beach laid out in front of her.

The three girls adjusted their equipment settings, unchecked their shoes in the system menu, and began wandering barefoot across the sand.

PineappleBeer walked to the water’s edge and kicked at the clear, cool waves.

“This is basically a luxury resort,” she breathed out in amazement. “Imagine coming here to swim and sunbathe whenever we’re tired… I can’t even put that feeling into words.

“There’s soil, fresh water, and endless sunlight!”

Outside this tiny pocket dimension, freezing blizzards raged nonstop and monsters roamed the frozen wasteland.

Yet just beyond one single mirror, they owned an unfreezing world all to themselves.

As they wandered farther across the beach, faint hazy ripples shimmered in the air ahead.

“Thud.”

Riley reached out and touched an invisible barrier roughly a hundred yards away from their entry point.

The ocean and sky still looked boundless beyond the wall, but the solid, invisible energy barrier stopped her hand cold.

“So it’s not infinite.”

Riley pulled her hand back without a hint of disappointment. She’d expected nothing less.

“If this space was truly endless, this wouldn’t just be an item card-it would be a world creation artifact.”

Even with its limited size, this soccer-field-sized private beach was nothing short of miraculous.

The sand stayed warm under their feet, and salty sea wind tangled through their hair.
