“This place is so nice.” Riley glanced around and sighed softly. “I should take some notes. I need more soft decorations back at my place.”
“Hehe, it’s just random messy decorating.” TartKing scratched her head shyly. “I didn’t even build a bathroom at the very beginning. I only decided to save materials for one after seeing your server–wide achievement notification.”
She paused for a second. “Back then, everyone kept popping up with achievements. That constant pressure was seriously stressful.”
The three girls chatted and laughed. Driven by Neeko’s eager gaze, they finally headed toward the kitchen.
“Alright, time for you to see my most prized possession!”
TartKing pushed open the wooden kitchen door.
The second they saw the inside, both Riley and PineappleBeer froze in shock.
They’d expected a tiny basic kitchen, but the room behind the door was far more than that.
The kitchen took up nearly half the entire cabin–no wonder the living room felt cramped.
The left side was set up like a traditional cooking station. It had a massive iron wok, stainless steel cutting boards, and every kind of cookware. Even an old wooden–burning stove sat there, spotlessly polished despite its worn look.
The right side was a literal paradise for baking lovers.
Two huge brick ovens stood prominently. Shelves beside them were stuffed with baking molds, whisks, and measuring cups. Bags of flour and frosting powder stacked up high into little mounds,
In the center sat a massive worktable. On top of it rested an advanced system machine–the Automatic Dough Kneader. The machine hummed steadily as it kneaded a giant lump of dough.
Next to it were two dough–proofing cabinets and a natural cold storage fridge connected to outdoor freezing air.
‘This is way too professional.”
“It’s nothing fancy. I just tried my best to recreate Blue Star’s baking workspace.” TartKing explained. “The upgrade card I got from that puzzle dungeon worked wonders. It upgraded all my kitchen gear. Now I can make almost any dessert as long as I have the materials.”
“It’s incredible.” Riley and Pineapple Beer nodded in admiration.
Not every survivor had arrived empty–handed. Some brought random strange tools from their old world. However, most of those items didn’t offer many practical benefits in the early survival stage.
If TartKing hadn’t survived those harsh early days, all these ovens and baking tools would’ve been completely useless.
“Oh right.”
Riley suddenly remembered something. She reached into her inventory and pulled out a heavy bulky item.

It was the finished “Dual–Burner Household Gas Stove” she’d looted from a treasure chest. She owned two of them, so she decided to give one to TartKing to replace her old stove.
“Your kitchen’s already this well–equipped—this should come in handy.”
Riley set the gas stove down on an empty countertop. The brand–new stainless steel panel shimmered with a sleek metallic glow under the lights.
“I’ll craft and bring you gas canisters later. I also have blueprints for Heating Rug and Space Heater. Once I gather enough materials, I’ll make those for you too.”
“Thank you so much, Burger!”
TartKing rubbed her hands together excitedly.
Her stove worked fine, but the fire was hard to control. She constantly had to pause cooking to add more firewood. The gas stove would perfectly fix all those annoying problems.
TartKing glanced at the wall clock and grinned.
“Since you’re already here, why not stay for dinner? It’s meal time now. Nobody leaves! You gotta taste my cooking!”
“I…. I agree!”
Neeko was the first to raise her hand. Her fuzzy beast ears twitched rapidly, and she subconsciously shuffled toward the dining
table.
