“Yeah. This is where Nightshade got those teleported beasts from. The noises are normal,” Riley.explained calmly, though she could also tell the dark fog felt off.

PineappleBeer had already reached the bottom and leaned against a rocky wall.

She refueled several dead braziers left behind by Nightshade’s men.

Premium coal burned extremely well, bursting into bright orange flames in an instant.

The dancing firelight chased away the darkness for dozens of yards in every direction.

These old braziers easily lit up the surrounding area.

Riley glanced around. They stood inside a small hollow at the bottom of the rift, which had once served as an enemy outpost.

Broken tables, chairs, and storage cabinets lay scattered about.

Beyond a narrow rocky wall stretched a massive chaotic underground stone forest.

Countless jagged stone pillars jutted out from the ground and ceiling, twisting together in a tangled mess.

Dozens of large black iron cages were scattered between the pillars near the outpost.

Most cages stood empty, their metal bars bent and torn apart as if some powerful force had ripped them open from the inside.

It was clear Nightshade had struggled heavily to capture all those beasts.

Rusted torture tools, broken shackles, shattered potion bottles, and beast skeletons littered the ground.

The girls searched the abandoned outpost briefly but found nothing useful.

They decided not to waste any more time and shifted their focus onward.

Deep within the unlit darkness beyond the fire’s reach, faint blue glimmers twinkled softly.

The glow didn’t resemble monster eyes. It looked more like… crystals.

Thanks to her overpowered stats, Riley took the lead and walked toward the mysterious lights.

As she drew closer, the pale blue glimmers became clearer.

Clusters of raw crystals grew inside rock cracks, shimmering beautifully in the dim underground space.

“What are these…”

Riley stepped forward and touched one crystal lightly.

Pure magical energy flowed straight into her fingertips.

Riley pulled out her iron pick without hesitation and got to work.

She swung the pick hard against the crystal cluster.

Clink!

The sharp metallic sound echoed across the empty rift.

[Obtained: Raw Magic Crystalx2]

Riley happily stuffed the crystals into her inventory.

The three girls were like scavengers who’d stumbled onto an untapped gold mine. They ruthlessly mined every exposed crystal they could reach.

They left alone any crystals buried deep inside the rock or placed too high up.

Riley knew that long before Nightshade founded their guild, they had gathered dozens of members and used crystal energy alone to teleport beasts enhanced by rage potions all across the server.

Now that she owned an intermediate teleportation array, she could bring more people here later for mass industrial mining and strip this cavern clean.

While they were enjoying their mining spree-

“Baa-Roar!!”

A strange bestial roar suddenly cut through the quiet air.

Heavy thudding footsteps followed shortly after.

Two tall dark figures emerged slowly from the shadows.

The monsters stood nearly ten feet tall. They had hideous black goat heads, glowing crimson eyes, and carried rusted massive

hammers in their hands.

Tattered chains hung from their bodies, clinking loudly with every step they took.

[Corrupted Goat Overseer]

[Level: LV21]

[Description: Demonic creatures corrupted by dark energy. Inhumanly strong and violently tempered.]

“They’re level twenty-one?”

Riley looked slightly surprised. She could definitely take them down with her current gear.
