Watching the exaggerated accusations and rallying cries flood the screen, Riley let out a laugh.

These guys couldn’t win fair and square, so they’d switched to spreading rumors–trying others to do their dirty work.

“They’re unbelievable. They tried to rob us, and now they’re flipping the story,” TartKing muttered, ready to fire back in the chat, but Riley stopped her.

“Not worth it. If we respond, we’ll expose our IDs. Once we craft the new gear, we’ll settle t properly.”

Riley figured defending themselves would only reveal who they were. Staying hidden mea safety–out in the frozen wastes, visibility was low anyway, so what did it matter?

Besides, there were only six hours left until the dungeon closed. If they kept their heads do they’d make it through just fine.
