“Yes, Mr. Lincoln.” Ronan nodded quickly and changed the subject, knowing comforting Adriana was the smarter move right now. “Mrs. Lincoln, are you happy with our
Adriana nodded and looked at Yolanda. “Yolanda, try it. It’s really good.”
Yolanda sat down and took a bite. The taste and ingredients were excellent.
Both Adriana and Yolanda were pleased; Ronan finally relaxed.
Noticing Ronan was still standing there, Yolanda got the hint. “Adriana, are you full?”
Adriana nodded.
“Come on, I’ll take you outside. The place looks amazing. Perfect for pictures and Instagram.”
Yolanda held her hand and walked out with her.
Ronan turned to Curtis and hurriedly apologized, “Mr. Lincoln, I’m really sorry. I didn’t expect the Joneses to act so shameless, pretending they still owned Nera Club.”
Curtis didn’t even look upset. “For now, we should keep a low profile. Avoid unnecessary trouble. Get the development rights for Vledo as soon as possible.”
“But … ” Ronan hesitated. “The Langfords are determined to win Vledo. Matthew does have some power, and his family is a long–standing family here. Their network is wider.”
“I’ll compete for the Vledo project using Lincoln Group’s name,” Curtis said casually, leaning back in his chair and tapping his fingers on the table. “The developers won’t risk offending either Lincoln Group or Langford Group. Ainsworth Group will slip in and take it.”
Ronan almost choked on his drink. He gave Curtis a thumbs–up. Two big names teaming up in secret to go against one Matthew. Smart.
Curtis raised an eyebrow, unconcerned. Matthew had made the first dirty move, after all.
Did Matthew really think he didn’t know who was behind the mess involving Micha Denton?
Meanwhile, Yolanda pulled Adriana through the grand halls of Nera Club. “Let me tell you, so many big shots visited today. The guy earlier? He’s the CEO of Ainsworth Group. Over there are some of the top names in Haldoria. And those pretty women? A–lister celebrities.”
Adriana was a little surprised. They really were very popular stars.

“Miss Adriana,” someone called from behind just as she and Yolanda were about to explore another area.
Adriana turned around and blinked in surprise. It was Justin.
He looked the same as always, calm and refined, with a quiet elegance that drew attention without trying.
“Ms. Adriana,” he said smoothly, “I heard Ms. Nicole caused trouble today an from the club. I’d like to apologize on her behalf Would it be possible to spc. alone?”
Adriana hesitated, then nodded. Honestly, it was hard to refuse a man who looked that stunning.

Beside her, Yolanda practically stopped breathing. She grabbed Adriana’s arm and whispered, eyes wide, “Girl, who is that? He’s better–looking than most A–list actors.”
Yolanda was officially starstruck.
Justin really was that handsome.
And Yolanda was the type who always admired attractive men, but she was also very clear about her goals. Yolanda wanted to marry into rich, helping her family to secure powerful alliances. To enter Nera Club, a man’s family background had to be above hers. Yolanda only got in today thanks to Adriana. But Justin entered by himself.
That could only mean one thing–top–tier, high–status, and wealthy.
She used to think men like Curtis and Matthew were the top of the food chain. She never imagined there would be someone like this she hadn’t even heard of.
Adriana leaned close and whispered to her, “He’s with the Bartons. Jeremy’s foster son. Nicole’s overly loyal butler.”
Honestly, when Justin was with Nicole, he was so obedient he felt like a programmed robot.
No personal thoughts, no soul, just following orders.
Yolanda made a face. “Ugh. If he sticks with Nicole, that tells me everything.”
“Alright, I’ll give you two some space.” Yolanda headed to the lounge area, though she kept glancing back, mostly just to admire how handsome Justin looked.
Adriana and Justin moved to sit somewhere quieter. “Mr. Hotchner, what did you need to talk about?” she said calmly. “If you’re here to apologize for Nicole, that’s already done.” She honestly had no idea what else he wanted to talk about.

Justin looked at her with quiet regret “Ms. Adriana, Mr. Barton asked me to speak with you. Mr. Harold is getting old. He wants his son and grandson back home. He’s eve considering transferring the inheritance to Denton. Mr. Harold personally spoke to my father, hoping Nicole would marry Denton
He had said it clearly.
Curtis was on the verge of being forced out of his family.
A waiter came over, gently poured a glass of water for each of them, then
way.
Adriana wrapped her hands around the cup, distracted. She already knew what Justin was about to say.
Justin looked at her with genuine sincerity. “According to the original agreement, Curtis would inherit from the family if he married Nicole. But now, he married you.” He paused, letting the words sink in. “So, Mr. Barton wants me to discuss this with you. If you’re willing to leave Curtis, he can still keep his inheritance.
