“Adriana, how dare you hit me? Do you believe we can make you and Curtis disappear from Haicheng whenever we want?” Nicole snapped. “Curtis, what are you still proud of?”

She was a little nervous.

She wanted Ronan to think twice. “Besides, Mr. Fowler is only the acting CEO. I heard your mysterious chairman above you is a business genius with a hidden identity. A genius like that would never allow you to bring a walking disaster into Ainsworth.”

Curtis raised an eyebrow, calmly sipping his champagne/Adriana also quietly lowered her head, drinking juice and watching their performance.

Natasha looked at Adriana with a cold smile. “When Curtis çan’t make it work anymore, Adriana, I want you to kneel down and beg me to forgive you.”

Adriana absolutely couldn’t hold it in–she choked on her juice and sprayed it all over Natasha’s face and dress. She coughed violently.

Curtis gently patted her back. “Don’t laugh while drinking or eating. You’ll choke.”

Adriana’s eyes were watery from coughing. Natasha was furious and gritted her teeth. Natasha looked at Adriana angrily. “Adriana, you did that on purpose, didn’t you?”
