Chapter 375 Do It Your Way
That’s enough. Alfred.”
Nella cut him off, clearly annoyed. The warmth she’d shown him earlier was completely gone.

“I don’t know if Wesley would ever hurt me, but what I do know is that he saved me. I’m not going to treat my lifesaver with suspicion.”
She gave Alfred a cold look. I’ve never said a single bad word about your lifesaver, and I expect you to show the same respect for mine.”
“Nella. I’m not…”
“If you just called me down to badmouth Wesley, then we’re done here.”
Nella cut him off again. Three days from now, the cooling-off period ends. I hope you will get the
certificate on time.”
With that, she turned and walked straight back into the building without a second glance.
Alfred stayed rooted in place, his face darkening with anger.
He didn’t know how long he’d been standing there before he finally looked up.
On the balcony of Nella’s apartment above, Wesley held Sunny in one arm and a glass of wine in the other, raising it toward him from a distance.
The slight curve of his lips held undisguised triumph and provocation.
Alfred shot Wesley a warning look, then left with a cold, grim silhouette.
Northvalen, West Coast.
“Sir, this shipment can only reach Seldoria safely through the Keywood Group’s shipping route. If Alfred continues to refuse to work with us, it’ll be nearly impossible to slip our goods into Keywood’s containers. When that happens, we won’t be able to explain it to Mr. Hodge.”
He sat on a wide leather couch in front of the floor-to-ceiling windows.
A few strands of silver were mixed into his neatly combed black hair.
The cigar between his fingers burned down bit by bit.
His staff waited respectfully in front of him. Seeing that the middle-aged man remained silent, he hesitated.
“Sir, we don’t have that much time to wait for Mr. Wesley to slowly plan things out.”
The middle-aged man finally moved. He stubbed out the cigar in the ashtray.
“What do you think we should do?”
“How about… we do something to remind Mr. Wesley?”
He emphasized the word “remind,” and a trace of viciou ness crept into his eyes.

The middle-aged man understood immediately.
He narrowed his eyes slightly. After a moment, he said,
“Wesley will be angry if he finds out.”
The staff frowned, remembering the warning tone in Wesley’s phone call, and fell silent.

But before he could think of another solution, the man added, “Alright, do it your way. We can’t keep letting this drag on-but… don’t go too far.”
The staff’s eyes lit up. “Yes, Sir. I’ll take care of it right away.”
The next day, the weather was perfect.
