Bye-bye Trash! Hello Queen! novel Chapter 1011

The others watched The others watched as Natalie practically glowed, her unbridled energy making everyone laugh along with her.

"You're really this happy about the divorce, Natalie?" Luna asked, laughing in disbelief. Most people would be in tears, but Natalie was all smiles.

Natalie slowly looked up, her smile breathtakingly beautiful.

"I am happy. All the pain I've endured can finally be put behind me with this divorce."

In her past life, it wasn't Sebastian who had killed her, but the man Joanna brought with her today.

From his gaze and tone, she could now confirm that the man who had killed her in her previous life was the same one from just now.

Her hatred for Sebastian wasn't as intense anymore.

Sebastian's fault in the past was not loving her.

And there's nothing wrong with not loving someone.

The mistake was her own one-sided devotion.

Sometimes, a woman believes her kindness and gentleness can win over the person she likes.

But now she understood: someone who doesn't love you will never see your efforts or your good qualities.

Letting each other go was for the best.

With that layer of hatred gone, she suddenly realized she didn't despise Sebastian as much.

"Let's go. Everything here is resolved. Joanna and Mr. Griffith will launch their next counterattack, so you two need to stay sharp."

Luna and Caleb nodded quickly. "Got it, Natalie!"

Natalie said, "To the office!"

Caleb pushed her wheelchair toward the office.

In the building across the street.

Sebastian sat in his wheelchair, watching Natalie's decisive and efficient style. A ghost of a smile brushed past the fading bruises on his face.

But seeing how happy she was about the divorce, his heart sank. Then, A dark, predatory smile tugged at the corners of his mouth.

Sebastian shook his head. "Plastic surgery is the only thing that makes sense. I don’t have a brother—twin or otherwise. My mother only gave birth to me."

Sean let his imagination run wild.

"Sir, is it possible that Maxwell Griffith was taken away at birth?"

Sebastian shook his head, his tone firm. "Impossible. My mother was only pregnant with me."

Sean was speechless.

He was out of ideas.

He couldn't think of any other explanation.

After a long silence, Sebastian suddenly said, "Sean, have you ever heard of the Mythic Chimera Biotechnology Consortium?"

Sean froze, his eyes widening in shock. "The Mythic Consortium? You mean that shadow group everyone whispers about in biotech? The ones involved in those... illegal experiments?"

Sebastian nodded. "Yes. Maxwell Griffith might have been 'born' there. If he has the same genes as me, it would explain why he looks identical, even if we aren't brothers."
